LIQ, seeing as the Paul Jones thread seems to have degenerated into a debate over Camara I have this one simple question for you. This isn't meant as a pop or wind up but I can't see the point of us trawling over old ground on a thread about something totally different.
We both dislike Camara because of his attitude blah blah blah but differ greatly in our views over whether he should play for the Wolves or not.
So here is a hyporthetical albeit possible scenario for you to make a simple decision on.
Wolves last game of the season and they have to win in order to gaurantee promotion. We are away from home and playing the team who could take our place by simply getting any draw.
The scores 0-0 and Camara comes on with just 2 mins of normal time remaining. The clock is ticking down and 3 mins into injury time Camara scores the winner after some brilliant skill, Wolves are promoted and Camara's value is increased with him now being an even more saleable asset.
So heres the question.
Q) Would you boo him, not be happy Wolves were promoted and because of your loathing of the man refuse to attend another Wolves game or would you cheer, be ecstatic at the situation and carry on supporting the club?
I know what I'd be doing.

This reminds me of the classic debate from the old molineux mix: Would you rather Wolves lose if it resulted in Dave Jones getting the sack?
Easily the finest debated thread in the history of MM.

I remember it PW.
That thread was aimed at the fans as a whole, this isfor LIQ to answer although I'm more than happy for others to voice their views.

There is not a true Wolves fan alive who would not be happy.smileys/smiley22.gif
Essex I've given my answer to this on the numerous camara threads in the last 2 weeks, the last thing I want is to get into another discussion with you, esp about camarat.
The problem with this hypothetical situation is, of course, that it could never happen: LIQ would have run onto the pitch and sat on Camara crushing him to death before he got anywhere near the ball.

First bit sounds a bit daft if we went up everyone would be over the moon and most would probably be buying sengelese flags at the end of the week.
I personally would be pleased if that was the case despite me not wanting to see Camara in this team i do think that ending the season and playing would win peoples hearts back again the only reason i dont want to see him play again is that i dont want to start praising him again to find egg on my face a couple of months later nor do I want to see any other strikers leaving as a result of his return.

Never mind the debate about wanting to get promoted with Dave Jones as
manager or not, the above outdoes that completely. Would you really
want us to get promoted if it meant that Bye Bye Baggies would carry
out his threat?smileys/smiley9.gifsmileys/smiley36.gif but definitely not smileys/smiley31.gif

Bo**ocks. Wolves fans are fickle, but not to that extent. Do you think Forest fans forgave Van Hooijdonk when he came back, because he scored a few goals?

I doubt they forgave, but i remember the goal celebration noise getting slightly higher every time he scored... I have visions of him celebrating on his own too, for the first goal of his comeback, his team-mates didnt want to know... that changed gradually too.
We are fickle though, no doubt. Most fans are... not many would be drawn in again.

Deutsch- I thought the question asked if fans would forgive him if he scored the goal that promoted us. There aint no doubt that if he scored the promotion winning goal fans would quickly forgive him though the whole thread is really nothing more than a hypothetical question anyway chances are he'd be gone before the end of the season even arrived

LIQ, this was just your chance to say your bit as opposed to us cluttering an unrelated thread mate.
You still haven't answered this particular question/scenario though.

PW, the one thing you can gaurantee with LIQ is discussion.
