At the start of the season most people on here were pretty much in agreement that we would easily finish in the top 2.

But after about 3/4 months it became obvious that all we could hope for would be the play-offs.

With us currently in near freefall and losing or drawing most games what is our next target?

Most would say above half way,but is it quite easy for us to be fighting for survival by April.

Now I hear you all say "Yes we're bad but not that bad,we'll definitely stay up.Well we've heard that before as in Notts Forest. But our team is packed with internationals they cry,we''ll come good just wait and see." Unfortunately that just doesn't apply because we've had a top squad all season and they are getting worse and worse.Hoddle is quite capable of leading us into the old Div. 3,nobody is too good to avoid relegation.

So my target is to stay up.Edited by: Wednesbury Wolf

Bit over the top that. We must still hope for playoff's although with recent performances and results it looks highly unlikely. Probably be mid-table again which is simply not acceptable...

At the moment, given results / performances, we are in a relegation battle!

We can hope for Mid-table obscurity followed by a clear out of useless players in the summer.

On current form the best we can hope for is 7th. But 7th might as well be 14th, it represents failure. Speaking as a former Hoddle supporter, that for me means goodbye Glenn unless he has the courage to change his tactics and try something new and at least produce some kind of a winning run.

I agree with Goldeneyed on this.........I to am a semi former hoddle supporter and can't really understand what he's trying to achieve. Maybe he is letting his contract expire......Newcastle?

Beg to disagree FEV 123 No Wolves manager has left this cub and bettered their selves in a management role. The only one that is close is our old friend (The Golden Tint AKA D Jones)

Mid table obscurity is fast becoming a likely reality and many more disgusting efforts like yesterday will see even that as a plus.smileys/smiley7.gif

Graham Taylor. Mind you there could be an argument that any manager leaving us has bettered himself just by leaving.

the only remaining target is to stay up.
i cant believe im even writing that but the state we are in at the moment , lack of confidence, no formation, a manager who doesnt know his best team, 3 months of the season left, pathetic amount of goals scored, fans deserting the cause(fully justified), no atmosphere.
we dont have the fight for a relegation battle

WE ARE IN DEEP TROUBLE.

if we stay in midtable then id take that right now.

Stu Baxter is a likely alternative. smileys/smiley16.gif
