What a disgrace. smileys/smiley7.gif

They almost caused a riot taking out wolves fans who had the audacity to get out of their seats, shout and vent their frustration at our appaling team and manager. No warnings given to calm down or a quiet word in their ear, simply whisked them out and left them outside the ground.

What they thought they were gaining i don't know. $$$$$$$ing silly billys the lot of 'em.

This is one the fewseasonsI haven't been to the East Midlands paradise of Leicester, but the fuzz there have always been b***ards, but then so are their "supporters"!

Never really held themwith such high regard personally. But I would prefer to concentrate on our internal problems.

The police were bang out of order today, God only knows what briefing they were given before the match.

The way they behaved you would have thought they were dealing with international terrorists, not pi***d off Wolves fans.

I think due to the smallish away following they found it easier to get amongst the fans and do their pathetic lecturing and telling off for swearing etc.

I thought the West Mids coppers were bad but these lot took some beating.

They only picked on easy targets as well (women and young scarfers)

What they were trying to achieve is beyond me.

Heaven help them if they ever have to deal with any real disorder.

Left a sour taste.

It was a disgrace, but always is at Leicester. Last season about 10 from Wolves and 10 from leicester got ejected, this season I think we won about 10-2. It really pi**es me off. Football is an expensive game to go and watch and you get there and are not treated like a customer but like a prisoner.

The Police were appalling yesturday. I spoke with a couple of stewards
at half-time and they agreed, but its the same every week. Stewards (at
Leicester) are trained to give a warning or even two/three warnings.
They accept a certain amount of "back chat" which they ignore and walk
away. The Police however do not and will simply throw fans out as soon
as they complain. The stewards even said that by half time 5 Wolves
fans had voluntarily left the ground due to the Police spoiling the
atmosphere and enjoyment, 5 people that will no doubt decide not to
give their 20-odd quid to Leicester City again next season.

The Police did seem to be hitting on the easy targets. For those who
were there, I was sat at the top right. About 12 of us together - not
hooligans, but all quite big blokes in designer type clothes (no check
caps!), with loud mouths. Some of the comments coming from our area
were, to say the least, industrial and the Police never spoke to us
once. Yet one chap a few rows back, sitting with his Wolves-shirt
wearing mate was chucked out for what appeared to be little or nothing.
All they could do was point cameras at us, which we reciprocated with
camera-phones.

After the goal, it could have kicked off big-time. On another day, with
a few more "lads" at the game, it would have done. Was this good
judgement by the Leicester OB or just lucky for them? And why did they
not throw out the lady who was left distraught when her compatriate was
ejected. If a man would have complained like that, he would have been
out - no messing. I felt sorry for her but I bet the Police couln't
give a damn.

A letter to Leicester's Chairman may br needed, and we should all
boycott the away game next year. Go to the ground but stay outside.

they were a discrace yesterday.

its always the same, the police get everyone all fired up and aggressive and then label the fans as hooligans.
when there is a low police pressense and they just stand around and not try to do the stewards job there is never usually any trouble.

they give themselves the reputation theyve got, no wonder people dont like authority when you have w!$*ers like that

...and the very same day syrian "protesters" try burning the danish embassy down, managing to destroy the Swedish and Chilean embassies in the action.

Ralphdog, i spoke to the girl whose boyfriend got thrown out they were walking away from the ground. He got thrown out for swearing and was put in the cells. He has to return to Leicester for a court hearing on a public order offence. After the ladwas ejected the young lady was told to return to her seat and told not to cause a disturbance.Utter disgrace. Then they came marching up the terraces with a smug look on their faces.Pathetic.

I agree, the country has gone to the dogs. Seeing a baby wearing
a 'I love al-quieda' hat. Why arent the kids parents pulled up on
this? Whats that all about?

That's disgraceful. The law in this country is PATHETIC. They throw the book at ordinary citizens for minor offences that aren't even worthy of an arrest, and stand back and let troublemakers and petty criminals get away with much worse.

The policing was the most heavy handed I can remember at a football match

As far as I could tell, the Wolves fans were not causing any sort of problem - yeah, some bad language here and there but no more than at any other game

The unwarranted treatment dished out by the police was an incitement to disorder, and there could have been big trouble had any further arrests been attempted

If the police want to deal with a real problem, I suggest they tackle the appalling racist chanting at Millwall, but confronting The New Den mob is a sight more challenging than the bullying of innocent individuals
