The FA Cup fixtures are only distractions to this focus. Wolves are already 4 points away from Preston who are holding the last playoff place and they also have a game in hand, which could raise the difference in points to 7 points. The more distractions Wolves have, the more Preston would distance themselves and establish their playoff place, with the season ending in a complete disaster if Wolves do not at least make it to the playoffs. It would be great to beat manure on sunday but regardless of the result a positive performance giving them a bit of a scare and players showing passion and quality, could equally turn our season around. I agree though, reaching the playoffs is more important. |
