Bugger, just seen another!!! Ha ha never mind!

Hibbitt was King

I was there.

(Actually Daly cancelled out Richards goal at OT).

Pearson scored just before half time,Kindon hit the post in the second half with the score still at 2-1, and Parkin hit the post from miles out at 2-2.

If we'd made it to half time or that 3rd one had gone in, the result may have been different, but it was a privilege to have seen that match.

I remember how I cursedGreenhoff for getting the goal to take the match into extra time,I had hated him for years but can't remember why.

Reading the bit about what the players are doing now I thought what a criminal waste for Hibbitt to be wasting his talents watching referees. He was and always will be one of my all time greats in a Wolves shirt,if we had just a little bit of his effort and 100% application now, we may be in a better position.

Long live King Kenny, how I would love to see him as our manager.

Kenny at Brum!! Brother Terry maybe Kenny went to Coventry then Bristol Rovers. Steve Kindon aka "Skippy"!!!!!!smileys/smiley5.gifSurely The Tank!

I was there too and after Bobby Gould's wonder goal from the touchline against Ipswich, and I think it was on that run JPR was the first ever sub to score a hat-trick in a FA Cup Tie Vs Charlton (managed to persuade my Dad not to leave early and got to see his third), I really thought we could go all he way.

We got relegated that season but it was a hell of a season, all the way to standing on the South Bank in that game vs Liverpool at the end.
