I wouldn't read too much into it mate. There's not that many pictures and he's not the only one omitted. Withdrawn against QPR as he'd only just returned. Fully expect him to play on Sunday, in fact, we're depending on him.

Mick likes his players to be extremely fit. Just maybe being pushed hard in training takes its toll at some time.

Not saying that is the cause but a thought.

I'm hoping it's just head games, and that all/most will find themselves available.

I'm hoping they are just slight niggles rather than full on injuries. Seems unlikely for three players to be ruled out of the match all on the same day. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope Mick’s pulled them out of training just to be on the safe side.

Unbelievable. A squad full of crocks it seems!
It makes the decison to let Guedioura go for the rest of the season seem even more stupid.

It does seem incredible the injuries we seem to get in training. Perhaps Henry is getting some tackling practice in for his return!

I worry so much about this team if O Hara is injured

Probably end up with either Hunt or Doyle at centre midfield if neither play

Mick - 'i didnt think he'd last as long as he did against QPR'

Then why did you let him play that long and risk being without him for the remainder of the season!
Didnt Mick use all the subs and therefore force O'Hara to play for 94 minutes? If that is the case it makes a mockery of his statement above.

After he was rushed back into first team action by the managment team are we surprised he's not fighting fit?

Papper
10-02-2012, 14:14
O'Hara is not the player we want running around at a hundred mile an hour else he will always be injured because he doesn't stop. He just needs to sit in front of the defence and pass the ball.

Wolfman jack
10-02-2012, 15:38
He's far more effective supporting the attack and has got caught in posession / given the ball away when hes played deep.

Please of the top of my head I can think of Kights and Zubar as two players rushed back into first team action and being out for long periods as a result.

How do you know that WV10Wolf? Do you work as part of the backroom staff or physio staff at Wolves? How on earth do you know they were 'rushed back'. Regarding Zubar and Kightly; recurrence of injury does occur you know, even when players who have come back from lengthy injury, are fully fit. 'Rushed back into the first team by the management'? I'm sure the professional coaches, physios, managers and players in question came to that conclusion too.

Damn I got rumbled!

But seriously, remember our first season back in the Premier League when Kights wasn't fit and played in his comback game against the Blose and got crocked, and we didn't see him for near enough two years?

JOH was out for 6 weeks or so with a hernia, played 45 minutes of a reserve game and was in the first team the following game. When I was at school my music teacher had a hernia and was off work for 3 months. I think professional football is slightly more strenious on the body than teaching teenagers how many beats are in a semi-breave.

I guess having two weeks to recover helps the situation as well.
