Yep - I think they may just well be! My deputy is a Blue Nose - having gone through the pain of relegation last season after having won a cup. This season he has had a great time - European football, beat us in the FA cup and are doing well in the league - and they've got a good manager as well! I fear that at the end of the season he will have more to smile about than me!

Looks like they're going to win the league at this rate. :O

But yeah, we'll see them again next season. We'll be sending them back down for the second time in 2 years.

I don't think they'll make automatic but maybe go up through the play offs. If I were to put money on it, it'd be Blackpool for 2nd place. Kevin Phillips, Matthew Phillips and Lua Lua are all match winners and they keep getting results in the last 10 minutes of games.

Got nothing but admiration for Chris Houghton for the job he's done there. Fair play I say.

I hope so - if we stay up

They'll still be penniless.

Nathan Redmond looks like a real gem.

Hope not.

Although very pleased for Chris Hughton. One of the best managers around and always so calm in the face of adversity.

IF we found ourselves in the market for a new manager, he would be my first choice. Realistically anyway.

That oppourtunity has been wasted unfortunately.

While I thought he had been poorly treated by Newcastle at the time of his sacking, I had thought he was somewhat fortunate on taking over there in that they had had enough good players to remain in the Premiership. His spell at Brum is showing us his quality, in view of their circumstances they should be doing poorly. Well done Chris.

Chris Hughton is class.

Agreed, Hughton is a quality manager and was harshly sacked by Ashley. Glad he's doing well. Shame it's at Birmingham though.

They have suddenly come out of nowhere! Looks like it will be West Ham and Blues coming up and Saints will miss out
