Looks like I was right to forgo a few pints in favour of an earlier train. Got into Bham International about 8.40, the motorway was littered with stranded cars and lorries.

I would agree with that.

It was on live over here and the Wolves support was booming loud and clear... the QPR fans seemed to do a lot of booing of our players from early on even before the Cisse strangler incident.

Worked out nice for me in the end. A mate texted me when I was near Warwick to say he'd had his flight cancelled from Brum before ringing back slightly later to say he was now stuck in New St where they'd turfed everyone off because no trains were running to Wolverhampton due to cable theft!

Ended up getting a free taxi home courtesy of Air France!

Been chaos down the midlands :Sunderland mate text me to say it was no go getting out of Stoke. Rang me 2 hours later to say he was in the Premier Inn 17 miles from the ground!

Wish you all the best if stuck

Glad to hear that somethings never change no matter how long you are away for....little bit of snow and the whole country grinds to a halt. Man City v Fulham game was like the old days, groundsmen clearing the lines etc. All they needed was an orange ball.

Seriously hope all you still travelling get home safe and sound.

I even met Barnsley and Blouse at Tamworth. Barnsley sound lads. Blouse well two of us ejected 10 out of the station into the snow :)

Got home about 11.00. 20 mph on the motorway is not the greatest. I've seen at least 15 crashes tonight. I'm not sure why people think it's a good idea to drive past everyone at 50.

It's just taken me an hour and 20 minutes to get home from Waterloo...and I only live 10 miles away.

Good luck to anyone trying to get back.

I like to laugh at all the 4X4 drivers who crash them because they think they are immune to the conditions because the drive a 3 litre Range Rover.

I decided to wear a long sleeve shirt to keep the sun off today. :D

Seriously, I've been stuck up **** creek in the snow more than once - I remember taking 6 hours to get home from Euston to Wolverhampton one Friday night in the snow and then having to walk home from the station with no buses or taxi in sight. Take care and hope you all got home safe.

I think I stayed there once!, but I didn't think I was that far from the Mol so not sure; may've been more like 5 or 6 miles away.

Best of all to those stuck (well I imagine everyone's home by now or maybe just waking up from their night in the hotel...).

Congrats to all Wolves fans who made the trip down to London yesterday, heard you lots on the box.

Why were there lots of empty seats in the bottom tier of the stand Wolves attacked second half?

Home fans were in there I think, we only had the top tier

Strange really considering all their big new signings.

Seats were covered with blue plastic sheeting.

Because we were above them, so I suppose they closed them off.

They are closed most weeks from what I can see, I can only assume it is because the away fans above, just seems a bit overkill if you ask me.

My step-son reps for a bar in Brum and last night the owner asked to go and work at the Wolvo one. He spent 30mins at Tambridge because of the copper theft watching trains going the other way back to Brum. When they let them off the trains coming back had stopped running.

He managed to eventually get the Metro back over here - to top it off the bar owner said he wasn't getting paid because he didn't work!

Thriving toe-rags needs stringing up and those that nicked the wire too

I'd just like to reiterate the words of edgmond. Great away support. Well done all of you. Glad you got home safe and sound, albeit later than you hoped.

I'm still on a high from the win, which while cooking the family Sunday roast, allows me to open the wine and keep the happy feeling. Enjoy today. Let's hope next Sunday is even better!

The M25 back round to my place was grim even by 9pm, and my little MX5 was spinning all over the shop once we were on to the A-roads off that. One complete 360-degree spin on one roundabout but we got home eventually.

Tickety-boom-boom :D

If I could have a pound etc ...

No. I'm not. And most people would run a mile if they saw me behind them with a pair of scissors :p

Most fun car to be had for non-silly money IMO. Brilliant. And mine's in old gold & black. Double tickety-boom-boom :D

coz away fans might chuck stuff onto the qpr fans below so only seats are available for under the top tier.
