I think this post demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding about how the football season works.

I will take that as we survive again just!!

looking at the fixtures I'd say absolute best case is 23 points which would probably see us safe, doubt very much we'll get that many though.

I can see two maybe three wins in there, at best.

IMO A little harsh AM. Whilst I fully agree with the first thirteen results [and think you're maybe a little brave going for a point against both Bolton and Stoke] I think we may well get a meaningless win in one [or maybe both] of the final two games when the result is purely academic.

This team, and the management, have to find another gear. They have to turn potential draws into wins and losses into draws. And they have to start tomorrow. Where the points come from I couldn't care less. If we lose the next two we are down as far as I can see.

60/1 for Mick McCarthy to never win another premier league game in his life.

What's the odds on Mick never getting another clean sheet whilst he's a manager?

The worry about those fixtures is how horrifying April is. We'll be lucky to get a point. That makes the next 8 fixtures stupidly important and we probably need 5 wins out of them to have any chance.

I thought we had an easier run in?

So heres another positive thought I have Wolves to win 1-2 and 2-3 against QPR now look at those odds Adrian that's soul lifting we can do it odds.

If Mick is as half P***d off as he looked after shaking hands with Dalgleish at the end of the Liverppol game and gets to work on the team this week then we may get some action.

One of the main reasons we've stayed up, up until now is due to Mick barking orders from the sidelines. Now that's gone, the players no longer give as much effort and as they don't have the quality, I wouldn't be surprised if we lose every game from now until the end of the season. Howebver, when the pressures off and we're relegated, we'll probably pick up a point or 2.
