Not been to QPR before so don't have much of an idea of where to drink around the ground. Where are people planning on going and meeting up? Any away friendly boozers near the ground?

Thinking of heading up there for 11ish.

Cheers.

There is a pub right by the Ground (The Roebuck?) which used to welcome away fans, but the last time I went there it was home fans only. There are plenty, I think, in Shepherds Bush a shortish walk from the Ground.

Walkabout at shepherds bush is a good one if you don't mind walking 15 minutes away from the ground or going another stop on the tube

We're getting off at Shepherds Bush Market and taking it from there.

Good stuff, cheers. Walkabout sounds like a good shout if there will be a fair few in there.

Have heard that nearer the ground it's home fans only in the pubs, with bouncers only letting in those with home tickets.

Exactly, better to PM one another where you're going before you get Hulson and Co on your case for daring to drink at the game.

It's not so much the drinking it's more the singing they hate. I remember a thread for another away game I won't mention. It wasn't an official away pub and there were spotters there funnily enough despite the pub only containing a few mixers :eek

I've heard of a lot less arrests this season, an entering sports ground whilst drunk is a nice and easy arrest for him to put on his figures to make him seem needed by those in control of budgets.

Happened at Villa park the other week, Villa V United, old bill just picking out lads daring to sing waiting to go through the turnstiles. Over 30 arrested. Policing at football is a complete joke.

Anyways, I should be out getting turned down by birds not on here ffs.

Too true. If you're young and male, don't wear colours and sing at football. Don't bother attending. You're not wanted. That's what it feels like to be honest.

I think you are right, I just hope the reduced prices are taken advantage of next season by this age group, tho i guess its a terrible time football wise to attract anyone!

I hate the sterile atmosphere, liverpool game was terrible really from both sets of fans and the scousers didnt make much noise at all either until they scored.
