Save yourself the effort Glasgow. Any reply will come from Rose Whalley (spelling ?). I'm sure she is paid to bull$$$$ a reply to pacify anyone who 'thinks' they have got through to Mr Moxey.

I used to keep his email address but was sick and tired of 'flippant' replies from 'his team' - he wouldn't lower his standards to really talk to the like of you and me mate - we are nobodys in his book. Time we all accepted it ... or not maybe.

Jez a quick question please
Why when other teams are bringing players in, are we constantly messing around.....
DO NOT QUOTE Postma, et al at me, these we had for the first part of the season.
Last transfer window we signed no one, in the prem we signed no one in the transfer window, in this one we signed no one.....
All we hear is we tried but failed, if we keep failing then some one is not doing the there job correctly!!!!!!
Why at the start of the window were you in America when we needed to hit the ground running in order to save a rapidly dissolving season?
Now we hear you have commented that it is highly unlikely we will sign any one before the end of Jan. Therefore we are left with the same players that have messed the 1st half of the season up.
If the plan is to build using the kids with the aim of promotion in the next 3 years then TELL US do not string us along with promises of signings.
If the plan is to use the kids then lets see more of them in the first team squad.

I hope you haven’t sent that! Couldn’t you have used MS Word Letter Wizard or something?!
Plus, we bought Cort and Jones in the Prem transfer window didn’t we?

Blackstrobe

Total number of players bought so far by Championship teams: 22. Those 22 have gone to 15 different clubs, including Wolves.

So when you say 'other clubs are bringing players in', who are you talking about?

glasgowwolf

VW who the hell we bought in in the transfer window?
NO ONE....... All our signings were players already here, they do not count

Well done GW, if no one asks then it is difficult to complain about not getting an answer. Here is my expected response:

Mr Glasgow Wolf, many thanks for your question and you have asked something which is very difficult to give a straight yes or no too as transfers is such a complex area.

During the past transfer windows I can assure you that everyone was working very hard (never fails to make me laugh that one) to bring new players to the club. You say other clubs have done so, but our manager is very clear that he only wants to bring in players that are of the highest quality and will actually improve the squad and those players are at a premium. It is often the case that the manager's targets are not available or they or their club make demands which are found to be unacceptable to the Wolves. I have stated before that although I am willing to bring in new players it will only be done if they represent good value for money to the club.

As for someone not doing the job, I can see that from the outside that it is easy to take that view, but I can assure you that everyone at the club acts with the utmost professionalism in this and any matter.

As for my trip to the States,I can assure you that I had made all necessary arrangements to ensure that no time was lost in any potential transfer negotiations and that my absence caused no delays. I was always available by various means of communication and was always on call as I often am during any of my holidays or breaks (almost makes you cry because of the dedication to duty, doesn't it?).

There are still two weeks to go and we are still working flat out to try and bring new players in. If this does not happen I am still confident that the manager will make the second half of the season a much more productive one and that we are so close to putting a good run together. Some of the football has been the best ever seen at the club, certainly in my time here, and I feel we only need the 'rub of the gree' to change things drastically.

As for the young players, it has always been our policy to bring in youth players as quickly as the manager feels they are ready, but it is also important to get the blend of youth and experience right and not to overuse them at such a young age. We are very proud of our academy and the players they produce.

[b]With the opening of the new£3m training ground I you can feel assured that we are working towards a long term plan of building something special here at Molineux.
