I watched us capitulate at coventy, reading and the plymouth league game, should I get a discount too? Edited by: FoetalYouth 19th Holer 09-01-2006, 13:52 Shut up. I watched us capitulate at coventy, reading and the plymouth league game, should I get a discount too? No ,you are guilty as charged smileys/smiley2.gif. Pay your penance like a man. basher 09-01-2006, 13:54 I agree with Foetal. I went to all four games over Christmas, don't I deserve a discount?? Aswell as all the other away games I've been to this season!!!! No, thought not so why should those that went on Saturday derserve special treatment? FoetalYouth 09-01-2006, 13:56 I'm sure the club will accommodate those non-STHers who went to the match on saturday, but not with a discount. They'll offer the STHs their tickets, then plymouth ticket holders, then TPSers, then general sale I imagine. Remember that Man Utd will get the SB lower and the South bank flank. Flitwick Wolf 09-01-2006, 13:58 This happens each year, I went to so and so game so deserve to get tickets for this game etc etc. If you all bought ST's you'd get tickets so smileys/smiley17.gif oh, and I aint used mine in about 6 weekssmileys/smiley9.gif Covwolf 09-01-2006, 14:00 Yep 3 season tickets, so that at least 3 tickets for me 19th Holer 09-01-2006, 14:14 Already, at work, I've had numerous visits from the part-timers asking if I know anyone........smileys/smiley7.gif Essex Wolf 09-01-2006, 14:17 If anything the club knowing it will be a sell out may well adda few quid on the price. If it did happen then on one hand it would be out of order but also good business sense. Just adding on say another 2% would bring in approx another £14000 on top of normal prices. basher 09-01-2006, 14:33 Call it what you will mate but know what you mean. A home draw of a less attractive tie would see another poor turn out as Saturday I'd imagine so drawing at home to Man Utd, should they go through, gives Wolves a great chance to make some revenue. I'm not sure if you're not missing the point though? You have to share the gate receipts with the other club, it's not like a league game. So with that in mind of the £14,000 you've quoted Wolves would see less than half of that. Given that that is pretty small beer compared to alienating even more of the supporters with a price hike, I think it makes poor business sense. Now I know you wont see it that way, as you never change your opinions about anything, but that's the way I see it.Edited by: basher Space Wolf 09-01-2006, 15:34 Assuming Man U beat Burton I hope Jez acknowledges the die-hards who turned outon Saturday by letting us have our tickets at the same prices. The loyalty points scheme was introduced for exactly this secanrio. Yet some people still feel the need to have a dig. Phys Ed Wolf 09-01-2006, 15:43 It'll be the first use of the loyalty points thing won't it? Only missed 3 home games all season although not sure how many that my dad booked for both of us went to both our supporter numbers, i'm reckoning it's unlikely :S Been to about 5 away games too be happy if i can get a ticket otherwise never mind, am working the 29th though :S wonder how many people would be upset at the chance of burton beating united? Flitwick Wolf 09-01-2006, 15:55 ...people would be upset at the chance of burton beating united? Possible Early Bird idea for Moxey?smileys/smiley2.gif simmo 09-01-2006, 16:02 Regarding prices, the home club, the away club and the FA all get a cut of the gate receipts and all three must agree prices. Obviously reducing the prices for Saturday's game helped maximise revenue as it was never likely to appeal to the masses, but there's no way the club will be allowed to reward you regulars should it be Manche$ter Unit£d you face. HIGHLANDER 09-01-2006, 16:34 Can anybody tell me if you get loyalty points for attending away games? Flitwick Wolf 09-01-2006, 16:43 Can anybody tell me if you get loyalty points for attending away games? Yes you do, but only if you gave your supporter number each time. Eg, if you "borrowed" someones supporter number to get tickets in the ST sale of an away game, you won't have got the credit, the ST holder will have. http://www.wolves.premiumtv.co.uk/page/LoyaltyScheme/0,,1030 (http://www.wolves.premiumtv.co.uk/page/LoyaltyScheme/0,,10307,00.html) 7,00.htmlEdited by: Flitwick Wolf HIGHLANDER 09-01-2006, 16:59 Assuming Man U beat Burton I hope Jez acknowledges the die-hards who turned outon Saturday by letting us have our tickets at the same prices. I think you will find the figure was nearer 80,000. There is a conspiracy theory that the Chorley game was played at Wembley stadium due to the collosaldemand for tickets by the Wolves "die-hards"....Judging by the amount of people that claim to have been there in Wolves darkest hour I'll keep an open mind. These "die-hards" seem to always come out when Wolves have a game where ticket demand outstrips supply..I hope that on this occasion the loyalty points system will be used and the computer will tell us who the "die hards" are and put an end to all this nonsense.Edited by: HIGHLANDER 19th Holer 09-01-2006, 21:43 Assuming Man U beat Burton I hope Jez acknowledges the die-hards who turned outon Saturday by letting us have our tickets at the same prices.
