OK, there were a few positives from Saturdays win but what do you think is most important for the season.
For me it is Clarkes goalEdited by: glasgowwolf
I've gone for the win option but its good to hear Davies played well.
As for Leon's goal..... I could've scored that and the general consensus is that he continued to play pretty poorly. Now I'd never boo a wolves played but that "big show" arrogance he showed indicates the boy needs to get his head out of his $$$$!
Not impressed! FFS Leon, you werent getting booed because someone said you were wasted, its because you've been s!$* and put no effort inall season! Send him to a Conference side and see if that gives the over paid $$$$ a sense of reality!smileys/smiley7.gif

The most important part - the return of Cort. Which means Clarke will be on the bench, in the stands or shhhing some chavs in Atlantis within 2-weeks.Edited by: Jim Bowen

Jim true the return of Cort is important, for how long tho!!!!
Miller is on his way so Clarke will prob play with Cort up front.
IMHO Miller, and Cort have both missed far easier and far more chances than Clarke as missed, however Cort is stil our leading goal scorer and is only 3 goals from the top of the scoring charts, I had a tenner on him to be leading scorer at 12/1.

I $$$$$$$in hope not! we can kiss promotion goodbye if we sell Miller and dont get a decent replacement in. If Clarke put anything like the effort Kenny does he wouldnt get any boos whatsoever.

Glasgow, I agree. The trouble is most fans seem to have the memory span of a fish. At the beginning of the season Cort and Miller were missing so many chances- as you say, far more than Clarke. But what happens? Cort is hailed a hero. Miller is elevated to a god.
It is great that Clarke scored. I hope it really does boost his confidence. Ince is right - time to move on and get behind the lad for the sake of the team.
Of course, Davies return - with that performance - was so important not only to the game, but to the season and to the long-term future of the club. He is destined to be our captain marvellous in a couple of seasons, I guess. I have suggested elsewhere that Davies and Cornes could become the cornerstones of a home-built midfield for the future - plus Goben.
Another important and positive feature is the emerging form of Ross. I hope we can get him on a permanent deal. This will give us 4 good full/wing backs (Edwards, Macnamara, Ross, Naylor) with others in the wings and coming through from the academy.
That gives us for the future some great goalkeepers, a good young defence, a very good looking midfield ...so all the more reason to support young Leon.

I voted for the win because it brings more funds to the club and is good for morale but the Davies performance and Leon's goal were both important.

Cort would be the top goal scorer in the division had he not got injured. Kenny has worked his $$$$ off all season, more than anyone. He'd be bangin them in if he was played as a striker. Thems the facts!
NowClarke's clearly a scared little boy, seriously lacking in confidence. Buttaunting theboo boysafter putting in another lacklustre performance and converting almost a simple tap in is just asking for trouble.
If he comes out on Friday and puts anything near the same amount of effort as Kenny or scores a prominent hattrick as Cort did against QPR then maybe people will take note. If he doesnt the childishness he showed at the weekend could see the end ofhim and most would say good ridence.
