Correct, he is infact our longest serving board member.

What is it that he brings to the table to hold such a lofty position, for the longest amount of time?

Is it money? Contacts? A keen eye for up and coming talent?Edited by: Kris Kringle

Apparently he is a well connected Ctiy chap, who is there to advice on financing options if/when Wolves decide to bring in new buyers/investors. He also claims to be a huge Wolves fan.

I reckon we should replace him with Mervyn King.

Kind of smileys/smiley2.gifIts a bit like a Social club - owned and run by SJH and Manduca's his drinking buddy - they all sit around in the "bored room" and SJH tells Moxey ideas for the club - Apparently I heard through the grapevine that the "latest" idea for the Mol is............

Garlic Bread - What a winner - that'll catch on with the fans wont it Jez?

After each meeting is concluded they all down a few pints and pies - then its karoake time boys and girls! (This is where all the players and their wives/ bit on the side get to join in! What Fun Campers!smileys/smiley2.gifNB* I hear that always first up on the mike is MC Leon and his crew!)

Is this the way to Moli - neux, Every night Im counting my pennies Show me the way to Moli - neuxsmileys/smiley9.gif

He is simply misguided, he can be brought to his senses.

smileys/smiley4.gifBut seriously Essex, I believe that SJH knows Manduca because of his multi multi millions that he has and business connections in the City - Just a shame that SJH does not use his connections to bring in outside investment - but there again it would mean losing control wouldnt it?

NW, the comments made earlier about Manduca being a Wolves fan and having big city finance connections I have heard before and both in theory are good news. Great to have someone on the board who supports the club and if he indeed is well connected with the financial market he will, hopefully, have his finger on the pulse for any good business.

That said I'm amazed that nowt seems to have taken place so far re new owners and your comment re SJH losing control may well be right?

The season we were in thePrem - SJH"rented" out acres of his land in Scotland to these eco Windmillelectricity generating farms and got paid millions for it - So, imv SJH keeps his main business contacts close at hand

I firmly believe that SJH does NOT want to let go of the club and will do it whichever way he sees fit.

IF we had real investors come forward - they would do what Ambramovich did with Ken Bates - move in - get their feet under the table and then get rid of theold guard

I suppose its a bit like anyone buying a new business and after a short period of being shown the ropes you would want to do it your own way - without any intereference - I for one believe that SJH is still there through choice and SJH will reinvest in the club - IF the fancy takes him - If not we just grin and bear itsmileys/smiley18.gif

NW, not so sure SJH still has the interest he once had?

Don't doubt for a second he still loves the club but it's like a favourite toy, you never want to get rid of it but don't always have the interest you did when it was new.

Love to be and hope I'm wrong but it's just the way I see things and feel at present.

If SJH sells up of course I want it to be to someone who has the clubs interest at heart and just maybe SJH hasn't found anyone he feels that way about. As such I'm glad he is staying but wish he'd just let us know one way or another.

Not saying he has to come out with detailed info but just a sign of some sort.

Trouble is Essex - Moxey would be out of a job aswell IF someone genuine were to come forward - the same as he was pushed out when Moxey found investors to take over at Stoke City

Personally, cant see anyone taking over at the Golden Palace for years yet So, either we get someone internally that can do a better job - instead of just focusing on a "putting bums on seats policy" hence why we sign managers like Hoddle and also dont tend to go in for up and coming strikers that no-one seems to have heard of

I mean, Dave Kitson, Sidwell, Lita Would we go in for up and coming players?

He's got good connections with Pukka.
