...in the World (according to Glenn,) ex-England manager, superb stadium, and money to spend- so it still baffles me why we can't attract anyone of note to our majestic club.

Still, at least we signed Darren Anderton.

We've got Leon hitting form - no need for any new signings.

Every day that goes by, this month, without the club signing at least one striker increases the suspicion that they won't......again. This attitude may not suit the happy claps but that is how the majority of us think. Unfortunately the club have previous in this matterand therefore doubters have legitimate reasons to be cynical. If the Fat man is indeed on holiday at this time then fans can reasonably doubt if the club are about to sign anyone. Hope I'm wrong, butI don'tsee any combination of our present strike force scoring the goals that will get us into the play-offs.

He didn't score in the 15 minutes he had against Coventry - so of course he doesn't count...Edited by: Stan Cutlass

Have to agree, we desperately need to off load Miller and sign a striker. Cort will come back, until then we need a proven goal scorer... Not Fryatt, Not Mcleod, not some young unproven we have 2 of them, we need a proven goal scorer, IMHO go and get Francowski

Maurice Ross wont count either, if he ends up staying on.

Can we stop all this pointing out of valid points and get back to pie jokes?

If we're going to be using the last transfer window signings as signings for this one - May I just congratulate the club on the signings of Bull, Dennison, Downing and Andy Thompson.

They didn't cost £8m each. Still it seems we may get drawn into a bidding war with Blues for McLeod so at least when we've pi**ed away £2m on him some on here should be happy.

so it must be just me that had an official club text saying we had taken on the contract of Postma during this current transfer window. Obviously just me that thought we had Gyepes on loan, and completed the signing during this current transfer window. Obviously just me that saw that Rosa had made his debut on the 2nd of Jan after receiving clearance during this current transfer window.

If you're going to try to be clever, at least get it right.

Jody Craddock extended his contract a few months ago, does he count as a new signing?

We signed them on loan during the last transfer window. They still belonged to other clubs. During this transfer window,Wolves have attained their player registrations for undisclosed fees. That sounds like a transfer to me. If we signed Huddlestone on a permanent dealtoday would you refuse to acknowledge that as a new signing too?

Yes Wolves have made signings, all freebies and loans so far but haven't spent a brass farthing on a transfer fee.

Players like Gyepes and Postma do not IMO count as new signings as they have been with us months now. Ross looks a decent player to have but as yet is still on loan and been with us a fair while as well so the Rosa signing, for me, is the only signing of a new face as such.

The club needs, again only IMO, to sign at least 2 new players this January and if they don't I would hope all those saying how the board have backed GH start to see reality and if they do back him it won't be before time will it?

We need new signings, we already know what Gyepes, Huddlestone and Postma bring to the team they've been here months and we're in 7th place.

NEW players are needed, so far we've got Rosa.

we have payed money for both Gyepes and Postma. How much would you have liked us to spend to class them as 'real signings'?

Would they have been better if we'd paid for them? Presumably Jackie Mac is rubbish as we got him on a free. As for Paul Ince and Denis Irwin - Rubbish.

Thank god we paid 65k for Bully, otherwise he'd have turned out rubbish as well.

So we need to sign 2 players. A quarter of the way through the window and we've already, by your own admission, signed one. Is that not a good thing? We only need one more player in the next 3 weeks?

I'm not on about money, I don't care if they're free as long as they're good enough to improve the squad.

What new players are here that weren't here before December 31st?Rosa.....and?
