Just got back - really grateful for the win, but we were truly awful, but still far superior to Sheffield Wednesday.

Kenny was a breath of fresh air when he came on, the work ethic will be tough to replace. Could barely see the first goal, there was little in terms of emotion from the players to suggest anything had happened!

Anderton looks like he cannot run at all. Yet TH is on the bench! Hoddle you are a w!$*er! Sorry but you really are.http://d1309274.u29.jodoshared.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif

Either Hoddle is a tactical genius and leaving Huddlestone on the bench again was a masterstroke or he honestly thinks Kennedy is a better player.

Interesting.

Anybody else think that somebody is negotiating with Spurs toBUY Huddlestone in January..... ? Obviously...not Wolves.

I can't think of any explanation for him not to be playing.

Someone posted they'd heard Spurs had asked us not to play him every match over Xmas. I thought it was a load of nuts at the time, but there can't be many other explanations.

Masterstroke by Hoddle. Keeping him fresh to play left back. Brilliant.
Whatever is going on must be down to Spurs.

Upon hearing the team I was amazed that again TH had been left out and annoyed that Kennedy and Anderton were both in but Sheff Wed were such a poor side that it didn't seem to matter our midfield was powder puff yet again.

surely spurs cant dictate when we play loanees?

What's the point of having loan players if their clubs can dictate when they play (Cup games excepted).

Equally if we are not playing himbecause Hoddle doesn't think he's good enough forour pacey, aggressive and free scoring midfiledthen I doubt ifwecould find room for Wayne Rooney up front (especially if Leon was fit). smileys/smiley5.gif

Cue post from blunt-speaking man of the people:

"Hoddle should have told Jol to $$$$$$$ off then, cause that wouldn't have jeapordised any attempt to keep him beyond January or anything. Anyone who says otherwise is a demented seal and loves Moxey. I think Moxey is a $$$$$$, by the way, if hadn't mentioned it before. £1 for debit card transactions, it's a disgrace"

On a side note- i have just seen Tom Huddlestone, and Mark Davies in diffusion in wolverhampton. Huddlestone looked the hardest.

The Bear

Not difficult when Davies is 4ft 3 and Huddlestone is 8ft 7.

I was also bemused that Huddlestone was left out of the side to face Reading.

I'd like to think that it was part of some agreement with Spurs about how oftern their player plays in this sequence of matches.

But the logical choice would be to leave him out of the sides set to face weaker opposition than Reading so it can only be for tactical reasons.

But that's even worse because it means Hoddle thought he'd selected a team to beat Reading!!!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo
