I cannot say I am enthusiastic about possible promotion to the dizzy heights of the "League of greed", just think about it, if the fixtures come out wrong virtually no 3-00 sat K.O.`s, prices through the roof, more than likely not being able to compete with most of the teams. The only good thing I can come up with is having the chance to play the "top" teams, but were you amazed by what you saw when we briefly tasted the delights of the "League of greed".
I wasn`t gobsmacked by any of the teams we played at Molineux or the few I managed to see away at exhorbitant ticket prices and that was a few years ago. Its the likelyhood of a lack of Sat 3-00 games though that really pieces me off.

the only thing that would really matter at the moment is whether or not Jack Hayward really wants it.

I don`t know whether Jack Hayward looks at this siteor contributes to it. but do you want it, promotion that is. Ooer Missus
I'm sure that OgW would rather not go to a game in the Premier League
than not go to a game in the Championship. He gets to miss a better
class of game when we are in the Premier League. Plus he can do what I
do and go round to a mates house and watch us play Man utd. twice in a
season.

I am glad that you are so sure of that. You must really be an expert .....or a prat. I wonder which one.

I doubt he contributes to it, most people over 80 can't work a remote control let alone a PC. My nan thinks the keyboard is a piano.

Does Sir Jack still exist? Or is he just a figment of our collective imagination?

Promotion every time. OK it wasn't pleasant seeing Chelsea marginally outscore Arsenal in league games against us. Strangely, I thoroughly enjoyed my day out in Chelsea, we might even have won it if Ince's effort had gone in. There were a few champange moments in our flirtation with the Premiership, I would pick those any day over a 4-0 victoryat Crewe.

i think i'd rather watch chelsea 5-0 us than anymore of this seasons crap. at least you are seeing some class, even if it is in the wrong shirts.

I did like the Mancs Vs Wolves stats for that season
Mancs P 4 W 1 D1 L2 - 4 points.
WolvesP 4 W 2 D1 L1 - 7 points.
Works great in pubs around here.smileys/smiley4.gif

Exactly...but for the rest of us, the Prem is the only place to
be. Eventually the leagues are going to get changed around, there
will be a super league for the likes of Man U, Real etc. There
will only be two leagues of note in England, the Prem and ours.
We must get up if only for the money.

The first few results in the Premiership were sobering to say the least, and it wasn’t nice to be stood in the Hogshead at 2pm already having lost 0-5 to <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Chelsea. I think we brought Andrews and Newton on in the second half whilst they had to make do with Hernan Crespo and some other nobody. Saying that, anyone who wants to remain in this rank league must be off their head.

There were times in the Premier League when we all said that we preferred the first division (mainly the first four weeks), but it's hard to replace the feeling of beating Man City, Utd, Everton with hollow victories against Crewe, Millwall (then again it would be nice).
The quality of day out is also much better, as going for a weekend in Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester far outweight trips to Burnley, Preston and Luton.
Just my opinion, but promotion everytime for me.

ALOB don't call this cack league "the division from hell" for nothing.
Promotion every time. I would rather be scraping around for the few points that make the difference between the bottom feeders of the greed league than suffer the endless apathy and boredom of failing to get out of a division we should be good enough to dominate.

Promotion OR relegation for me. At least something actually happens then to keep the interest, as opposed to the endless drudgery of staying this god awful abyss.

That is the biggest and most important question/issue here.

oh god please let us out of this league. getting smashed off the park a
few times was a hell of a lot more interesting than struggling in the
op half of this division
Being the underdog in every game made every game exciting.
Do you remember the feeling when Colin Cameron scored against Man City?
When was the last time you reacted to to a goal like that?
Promotion every time. It kills off the wimabigclub syndrome.

Maybe that's he problem hoop.
Wolves are expected to do better in the CCC and fail miserably, hence apathy and disinterest creeps in.
