Taken from the Eatsleepsport website. Don't know much about him and whether he's been mentioned on here before??

<t><tr><td valign="top">Glenn Hoddle will decide
whether to offer Hungarian ace Denes Rosa a deal after watching him in
action for current club Ferencvaros.</span></td><td>http://www.eatsleepsport.com/images/footie/footyC_small02.gif</td></tr><tr><td colspan="2">Hoddle
had viewed Rosa on a number of videos and got the verdict of his former
club and international team-mate Gabor Gyepes on the 28-year-old
midfielder, before bringing him over to the club's training ground for
a few days last week.
If Hoddle does decide to sign Rosa, he could
get him in a cut-price deal because the player is out of contract next
summer, while he will not need a work permit as Hungary is now part of
the European Union.
He said: "Denes has gone back, but we will
have him watched again at the weekend when Ferencvaros have got their
last game before their league shuts down for the winter.
"He is
one of a number of options that we are looking at. We will have him
watched before the Hungarian international players from their home
league go to America for an international."</span></td></tr></t>

lets hope he's better than our current number 4
Sounds like my kind of signing: won't cost too much, experienced, wages shouldn't be too high &no work permit required. I'd prefer these kind of signings than 20 year old over-hyped lower-league players that think they're God's gift to football just because they've signed for a 'big club' with a nice stadium and spend all their time getting pi**ed and discussing how much money they're on and when they start playing rubbish everybody says its because they lack confidence and the fans are being too hard on them, poor loves.

Leroy Lita? Curtis Davies? Matt Dawson? Michael Carrick? Tom Huddlestone? Jason Roberts? Nathan Ellington? Chris Kirkland? Scott Carson?
<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
All signed for relatively big money from lower league clubs at some point during their career.
What about the players we've brought over from foreign fields before? Not all been successes have they? De Jong, Niestroj, Dowe spring to mind.
Leroy Lita - scored one goal in the last 14 matches for the best team in the division.
Curtis Davies - plays for Albion doesn't he?
Matt Dawson & Michael Carrick- already playing for big clubs, signed for an even bigger Premiership club for a lot of money. Different scenario.
Tom Huddlestone - ditto.
Jason Roberts & Nathan Ellington - you're correct here. Both very good signings.
Chris Kirkland - bought for 6 million, played 25 times. Not the best transfer in history was he?
Scott Carson - played 4 times for Liverpool and what, twice for Leeds?
Any others? I'm really not convinced by your examples.
Tom Huddlestone - ditto.

Big club in terms of when they sold Huddlestone, they finished 4th, ten points above us, and had an average attendance of over 25,000.
By lower league I thought we were talking about signing players from teams that are actually below us in the table,have smaller grounds and attendancesand haven't recently spent several years in the Premiership. My mistake, sorry.

Surely the problem with Wolves recent transfer history is that we haven’t signed enough up and coming players from the divisions below us/teams around us?
<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Players like Matthew Taylor/Kabba/Lita/Ifill/Koumas/Earnshaw/Nugent/Elliot/Whiteh ead/Lawrence who could have done a job for us?
Instead we have concentrated on bringing in 'names' who have come to Molineux and done ( largely ) exactly what you might accuse the younger 'big time Charlies' of doing?
Olofinjana, Silas, Luhzny, Okoronkwo, <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Newton</st1:City></st1:place>, Anderton, Osborn, Corica, Flo, Branch, Claridge, Slater etc etc.
If this Hungarian is a good player ( like Gyepes ) is fair enough, but to write off all lower league talent as overpriced and arrogant is a bit rich considering some of the dross we have signed over the years, coupled with the fact that teams like Sunderland and now Reading have succeeded by recruiting players from the lower leagues.
1st Rule of Project Hoddle. Never sign a player who's anagram of their name is '$$$$ Nosed'

<O:P></O:P>
I would describe Osborn and Corica as up-and-coming players from teams around us. The fact that they were carp and over-priced is down to a poor manager, nothing else.

The talent is about – its down to identifying it. Liam Lawrence, Stephen Elliot and Dean Whitehead all played their part in getting <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><ST1:PLACE w:st="on">Sunderland</st1:place> promoted last season – you're not telling me they wouldn’t have improved our squad. I bet Olofinjana cost more than these three alone and he's been atrocious – despite being tracked by <st1:country-region w:st="on"><ST1:PLACE w:st="on">Monaco</st1:place></st1:country-region> and being a 'name' international.
I also find your other criticisms out of order Bill.
Firstly, Steve Claridge hardly played for us, so its not fair to judge him. But after we sold him on at a loss he went on to score 30oddgoals in 90 appearances for Portsmouth, followed by another 30 in 80 appearances for Millwall. Not bad for 250 grand?
Newton played a significant role in our one and only promotion to the Premiership, played fairly well when we were in the Premiership and then did the same for West Ham.
Okoronkwo was picked from the bargain bin for nothing and I thought played ok. Especially considering how much he cost us.

Dont think that one is fair as poor Kirkland is in the same position as our Murray. If both of these guys could have stayed fit England should have had two top class keepers challenging Robinson.

Which players are you talking about? Are they ones Wolves have signed from the lower leagues, or just your perception of what you think Izale McLeod 'might' be like?!
<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
To my knowledge there have been teams ( who have finished above us ) in this Division who regularly sign players from the lower leagues. Look at last seasons promoted trio. It didn't hinder the their progress, did it?
Lawrence/Elliot/Whitehead/Ellington/Bullard/Reo-Coker/Gabbid on/Collins are all the kind of players who could have improved the Wolves squad. Are they out all the time 'getting pi**ed and discussing how much money they're on and when they start playing rubbish everybody says its because they lack confidence and the fans are being too hard on them'??

with 50 games in 7 years we'll never know if murray is top class
