According to the SP.
Wolves made a 250K bid for Carlisle striker, black country born Karl Hawley last week.
2nd bid for Izale McLeod turned down and Fulham are also interested in him.

Karl Hawley looks like a natural goalscorer....On top of he promising stats, he got 7 in 7 this pre season....smileys/smiley2.gif
If we did potential, I'd be happy to get him in....

if this is the great hope to save our season, I am afraid we are in trouble

Made two appearances as a sub for Walsall and scored in neither of them.....What a waste of space!!!

i see laurent robert is being cut free from pompey...would he keep clarke off the left wing?
This season is disappearing slowly down the crapper. It's no that we might sign this guy from Carlisle, but it shows the apathy at the club that infects us top to bottom. It seems we're already resigned to not getting McLeod and Miller's going to go along with Lescott. We should prepare ourselves for a few years of mediocrity, with a some avearage performances to boot.

Still, nothing like a bit of optimism, eh?
I was just reflecting the atmosphere that emanates from the club, not my own point of view (which incidentally is not that far removed from above!)
I have to agree with Axle there isnt a great deal to be optimistic about at the moment is there?
Of course any suggestions would be welcomed??

If there is a lack of optimism here can anyone at all feel wildly motivated by our Board and Manager?
