View Full Version : Wales/N Ireland
Anyone get lucky? I didn't, starting to seriously consider just how worthwhile it will be going to Germany now.

Tickets will be available from the usual outlets nearer the time, Wales would be quite pricey I'd imagine

Im going to Wales v England. FACT. My dad is Welsh and has a ‘season ticket’ for the internationals. Going by recent Welsh performances I would not be at all surprised if I found myself on the bench.

Got Wales ticket.
Basically, any new member who has been to all the home games this year + Denmark was guaranteed a ticket for Wales, ie 5 caps.
No luck in the N Ireland ballott though.

I'll be watching Wales V England in a bar in Seville, while on my stag do, so most probably in a dress.....
Flitwick, just spoke to one of the lads i met at the Azerbaijan game
and they were unsuccesful aswell, told him how i was concerned i
wouldn't get tickets for the WC but he reckons there will be 20,000 per
game and if i get tickets for the remaining home fixtures (meaning i'll
have been to all of them) then i shouldn't have a problem getting
tickets in Germany. Is this correct?

Yammer - In short no. EF have been told they will get 8% of the stadium capacities in the WC games. Which is a joke when considering FIFA and UEFA saw how many we took to Portugal.
I do not know how many caps you are on but after Wales I'll be on 8 and still think this will not be enough for the WC. Apparantly we will have a few friendlies before the WC, probably away, so I'd suggest you try and go to these if you want to be guaranteed tickets. otherwise, just hope you get luck in the ballots.
It can happen, there are a few people on 2 caps who got NIreland tickets and some on 15 who didn't!!!!!
The remaining home games are a must though.
The last option is there will be hundreds of touts flogging tickets in Germany. It is always worth adding up how much it will cost you to watch England everywhere to get tickets officially against how much you will pay a tout.

I've managed to get tickets for N. Ireland but not Wales. Bit gutted really as I really wanted to go to Cardiff.
