I remember this bloke posting last week how he was coming over with the Maltese Wolves to see the last two games.

Yes a load of Malta Wolves SC travelled up to Wolvo for the last two
games. I think they were supposed to present Lescott the club's player
of the season award. Better late than never eh?

I thought about the Maltese Wolves and their visit. They did not have
the best of games to see. I hope Tarciscio comes on and give us a full
report of the trip. I hope they had a good few days at least.

Perhaps he will now realise what an underperforming bunch of no-hopers we all support! It's in the blood or I'd have given up years ago!

I prepared a reply but I am not being allowed to give a full account of our visit to Wolverhampton. Hope to be allowed to do it soon.

Somebody very wise had stated :- With friends like these, who need enemies? Why should I get the stick from some, when I did nothing wrong. We just came to see our favourite team, spent money and did not bother anybody. Still life is like that.

We arrived on Tuesday 22nd and we were all focused to see the match against the blades. The latter just came to take a draw, so the match was not that beauty. But, we still enjoyed it, particularly as before the match we were allowed to present Lescott with our Footballer of the Year trouphy from the Maltese Wolves for season 2004/2005. We presented this near the dug out.

On Wednesday we were taken around the stadium. Naturally we were going to the club's shop each time we were at Molineux. Thanks Howard and John Hedley for showing us around.

Thursday was a very exciting day. First we visited the new trainiing grounds. They are superb. In the afternoon we attended the signing of the book by David Instone and we took a lot of photographs with our past faourites. They were great players for in their days money had not yet such a big influence on the players, so football was more or less being played on a true same level playing field. In the eveniing we booked dinner at Molineux, so that we shall get most of the experience of our beloved club.

Friday was a free day, and did a lot of shopping from the Wolverhampton Plasas, which have improved since I first visited Wolverhampton way back to 1991.

Saturday was again a matchday. Wolves played better than they did against the blades and it was more being unlucky and with very bad decisions from a referee, that Wolves did not take the full points.

On my brick, I did not trace it. Regrettably when the scheme was introduced some 8 years ago, the staff did not have a record. Still I was given a new certificate of my brick. I will need to find time to search my past records, so that I will be able to give them more details.

On Sunday evening returned back to Malta.

Thanks for making such a beautiful holiday for us.
