View Full Version : Robbie Keane
Heard today that Keano was ready to sign on loan a month ago, but Jez told Hoddle to stop the deal because he couldnt afford his wages.....
Apparently Hoddle was that angry he wanted to quit on the spot...
From a reliable source...im not the type to start rumours either lol!smileys/smiley36.gif Edited by: kizza

Kizza, are you serious mate??
If Spurs were to release Keane there would be plenty of Prem sides ready to snap him up.
The fact you end your post with a smileys/smiley36.gifmakes me think you are on a poor wind up nice as the thought of him joining us is.
I swear im being serious!!!! no joke! the smileys/smiley36.gifis for the lol!!!
I heard it today, im not making it up Essex!

Well no reason to disbelieve you then if you say you are serious mate and it would have ben a great signing, better han even Huddlestone IMV.
If it was Moxey who blocked the deal then two questions need asking:
1) Is it because he was going by orders from above?
and
2) Why is the club being so negative if they truly???? want success as they make out?

If I were you I would get straight in touch with Tim and I am sure he
will discipline young Jez for not acting in the Club's best interests.

yes, this story is absolutely true, only the player involved wasn't actually robbie keane but none other than Holloywood mogul John Travolta, so I heard that Glenda nearly quit andthrew a hissy fit coz Jez preferred ronaldinho and both nearly signed but at the signature ceremony, they fell in love, adopted a local python and flew off to Sicilia to watch etna boil...how do I know this, coz I just made it up, it's absolutely true that Jez wants wolves relegated to the faroe islands 3rd division.
Keane started with Defoe on the bench a couple of games ago surely they wouldn't let him out on loan & surely he wouldn't want to go down into the cola league????

He's started and scored today. Defoe still an unused sub with 65 minutes gone, Keane and Mido up front.

i can definately say this is true.
clubs always arrange loan deals and then just as the player is saying his goodbyes at his parent club, he realises he hasn't discussed his wages....

C'mon Kizza, tell us the bloke down the pub's name, we promise none of us will tell him that you told us.....honest.

Apart from the fact that Keane is playing regularly at Spurs, Moxey is clever enough to realise that if he could get a Wolves hero back it would be such a coup that he would be foolish to stop it.

It was probably Michael Keane, the ex-Preston player.

Why would Keane sign for us on loan??
No chance at all of this being true or happening.

Is this the same Robbie Keane who played for Spurs in the Prem yesterday and scored? smileys/smiley36.gif
Any chance we could approach United for Van Nistleroy and Rooney?
