... have the potential to really turn this season on it's head.

Derby County - Struggling to reach the heights of last season. Never had a great home record since returning to the Football League.

Sheffield United - Excellent start to the season, have the winning habit. We're more than capable of turning them over though.

Southampton - Current rivals for a play-off spot. Draw specialists. Not setting the division alight by any stretch of the imagination.

I genuinely think we've turned the corner, and Glenn Hoddle is learning how to play the CCC game.

Hopefully after this week, the top two will be looking over their shoulders!

They should not be fake, they should be knock-off.

sheffield won't keep it up much longer, play-off place at best for the northern monkeys

Like the positive thinking Stan - looking forward to seeing the game
tonight, i hope we absolutly spank Derby. Agree with you that we can
turn Shef U and Soton over as well if we get our game together.Come on
lads, lets get that winning run started!

and thank god the international break is over as there are suddenly several wolves threads on the board!

Derby County have scored in every league game they've played this season. So we're either going to have to score at least 2, or do something no other team they've played (apart from Grimsby in the Cup smileys/smiley5.gif) has been able to doand keep a clean sheet.

no way. wait until a little bad run comes together, a few injuries, it'll happen

Win Draw Win

Sheffield Utd will win the league. i've seen nothing in any of the other 23 teams that will make me think otherwise.

Draw, Win, Draw for me. Both draws being typically frustrating affairs.

With Clarke playing, we'll always be lacking up front. Without a commanding centre-half/keeper, we'll always concede from set-pieces. Will be interesting to see how Postma does tonight, assuming he's put under more pressure than he was against Norwich.

The last time before we played on a Friday everybody said we had 'turned the corner'. Then look what happened. Lets hope its not another false dawn.

Just talking sense. I'm not sure 4 points from Brighton and <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Norwich ( one of the worst sides ever ) merits some of the more optimistic posting encountered on this board. I hope we will win obviously, but as Deutsch says – unless we can defend competently we will get nowhere.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
