Just thought I'd start a thread the celebrate the lives of the innocent people who died on 7/7.
Thoughts and prayers are with their families.

And also those that survived but are physically or mentally scarred for life suchas the black chap who was on TV this morning who was a keen sportsman but has now lost both his legs and the woman who has also lost both legs and has to move out of her 1st floor flat as she is now in a wheelchair.
Its one thing when these tragedies occur because of an accident or illness but when it has been caused so deliberately and senselessly...
Hopefully one day we'll see the end of the madness but I won't hold my breath smileys/smiley19.gif

I echo the above words and hope the world can become a much safer place in the very near future for the sake of all its citizens.

I feel like this every Sept 11th unable to believe how much time has passed. Next year it will be the 5th anniversary!! Unbelievable.

Thats very true and I take nothing away from that, but lets not let
that overshadow today's remeberance of innocent victims of 7/7.
please don't hijack this thread with anti-Bush/Blair opinions, lets just use it to remember the victims of 7/7

One of the victims was a near neighbour of mine, the young family are absolutely devastated and his wife has aged ten years bless her. He was only at his office in london once per month - just happened to be that day. smileys/smiley13.gifBy all accounts he was a wonderful chap all round.
Like for so many victims, wrong place wrong time, tragedy.
I wonder how long it will be before we see smiles on their faces again?
