Nice quote from Mark Kennedy, ou esteemed 'captain' who shows he has his finger right on the pulse, he is talking about the fact that we are not taking our chances and conceding too many sloppy goals:

"It's something that needs to be sorted out very quickly otherwise we're going to be fast slipping down the table."

Well, beside his use of what appears to be similar wording to what Stuart Gray has apparently said, does he live in a time bubble or does he not consider a drop of 4 places in 2 weeks a particularly quick drop.

We only need to maintain that pace to be bottom of the league by Christmas....and with us only 6 points from the drop zone it could be much quicker than that.

Nice to see that there is so much awareness within the club.

Not having a go, jus wondered why he doesn't think a drop of 4 places in 2 weeks is not a case of already dropping down the league at an alarming rate.

He's not going to say "we're dropping down the league at an alarming rate" is he.... Even if it is the case.

if results go our way we could in theory go up to sixth again tonight. Lets be positive at leastuntil we have another defeat to contend with. Watford was ugly, but its now ugly history.

Don't expect him to say that, just not to say it may happen when it already is. He could just have missed out that part altogether and said 'we know what we need to do etc, etc'.

*looks at own post again*

good God - did I just try to put a positive spin on creeping up to sixth in a division that we should have laid waste from day 1?

$$$$$$$ - we are all going to hell in a handcart

IMV it's a bloody joke that Kennedy is Capt anyway.

kennedy is about as much a captain as he is a holding midfielder.

I would have agreed before this season but apart from Lescott candidates are a bit thin on the ground.

Kennedy seems the only one to me. Maybe apart from Lescott, and he isn't the loudest on the pitch.

candidates are thin on the ground

oakes - haha no chance can't command a six yard box let alone a team

murray - more likely to appear in casualty than a Wolves shirt

naylor - I don't think so, a bit quiet

lescott - a sensible candidate but is he actually a great communicator?

gyepes - language problem and short term deal say no

craddock - possibly but this would distress 19th beyond measure

edwards - nope

kennedy - has the armband in the absence of the guv'nor

anderton - 45 minute player at the moment and not really captain material

davies - still at school

seol - language and being w!$* problems

miller - whingy moaner so not a good captain example - and also crocked

cort - maybe

clarke - ow my sides

ganea - language issue. not in the side enough to judge but he has passion. Personally I am unconvinced by forwards as captain.

that's pretty much it. Huddlestone maybe if on a long term deal.

Kennedy by default at the moment.

Well how about someone kicking you both in the nuts and then you can scratch them as well?
