Nationwide Conference side Tamworth say they
will support last year's top scorer Bob Taylor, despite the veteran
admitting a drink-driving charge.
The 38-year-old former
Bolton and West Brom player was fined and banned by magistrates last
Friday, prompting the Warwickshire club to offer the striker two weeks
off to deal with personal issues.
He missed the 3-0 defeat to
Tamworth at the weekend, and met with chairman Bob Andrews, manager
Mark Cooper and general manager Russell Moore on Monday morning, with
the club confirming that they will back him through this period.
Through the club, Taylor has issued an apology to the club, supporters, and his family.
Tamworth
will be praying that Taylor overcomes his problems quickly, because
they need his goals to pull clear of the dangerous predicament they
currently find themselves in, joint one point ahead of bottom place
Scarborough.

K11, your post showed all the waffle and BS being generated just now by the Molineux hierarchy. If we had??????? signed players like Huddlestone one day earlier then IMO we'd not have seen the pee poor preparation which has affected the club since the days of DJ IMV.

I made a mistake DCNB and the children on this site have not let it drop since.
I hope to God they are as perfect in real life as they make out on here.
Might p1ss on people's chips but technically Essex is not wrong. Bob Taylor was 'connected' with a move to Wolves once according to the E&S anyway. If he was as intelligent as myself he'd have dug himself out of the hole!
