Just scanning the opinions for the day I see....
Ince is finished for ever..Anderton is a cream puff..Ndah is a sicknote..Olo is a waste of oxygen..Lescott is losing his edge..Naylor plays hot and cold..Cameron is a headless chicken..Jackie is finished for the season..Anderton is a cream puff..Miller is going to Roma or a northern team or a southern team..Cort couldn't hit a barn door with a cannon from 2 yards..Seol is dribbling all down his shirt..Oakes has no eye for a cross ball and should never leave his goaline..(Oh! I said that)..Moxey won't let Hoddle have any money..Hoddle is out of his depth in this league..the board want us to stay in this division for another 19 years.
The only cheerful highlight is.. that so far we are not sure things for relegation!!

Ok let's add some positives.....ah.........um.........we are not Nott'm Forest ..........Davies is going to be good..........so is Riley, Little, Cornes and Hennessey...............Paul Jones will be leaving this season........................uh................Mu rray is on his way back...................Olo can only get......better..........Edwards has done quite well.............. Kennedy is no longer a complete washout............the Rat has gone (mixed blessing perhaps)..........there is money available...............it is only mid October.......plenty to play for etc etc........diamonds are forever.....Roma will pay a fortune for Miller..........
Best I can do. But to really cheer us up all we want for Christmas is a hardb!$*!$*din midfield, a left back alternative, a proper partner for Lescott and Alan Shearer's younger brother.
