This question isfor current ST holders. smileys/smiley2.gif

Hypothetical question

Ifwe manage to get promoted at the end of this season and the club were to increase ST pricesby say 50%, would you still buy one based on your current financial circumstaces?

Yes, and I would do even if we didn't go up.

50% hmm I would be able to finance by home ticket but it would end my away day trips....smileys/smiley19.gif

I'd have to take a long hard look at things...probably would, but.....

50% would make that £517.50, which would work out at £27.24 per game
(behind the goals), so matchday prices would be around about £35, which
to be totally honest would be the cut off for me, more out of principle
than cost. I think theres a difference between supporting your club,
and blindly supporting them, now if the club needed that sort of money
to survive (ie. back to the mid 80s), then perhaps, but when they dont
need it, then at those sort of prices they would be taking the
fans for a ride, even more than they do now, so to be honest they can
go and $$$$$ themselves.

(awaits backlash for not being a true supporter or something)

I can't make mid week games so therefore I am going to miss at least 5 games from my season ticket this time.

If theprice goes over £400 I am seriously considering not renewing if we are in this division.

In the Prem I probably would still get one, but looking at clubs like Sunderland who could not sell out against Man U, I'm thinking I could probably just choose my games anyway. It seems that unless you can win something the bubble is bursting.

Surely there must be other ST holders out there who have an opinion on this that they would like to share with us? smileys/smiley5.gifsmileys/smiley2.gif
