They go on sale Wednesday according to the site.

Quite suprised by this really. Just ordered 2 tickets (at £24 each incl £2 booking feesmileys/smiley7.gif) and apparently we have about 500 ticketsremaining and are unlikely to ask for anymore.

Just spoken to the ticket office after booking mine and they have said that there is a 90% chance they will ask for more tickets.

Plenty of time to go and I'd hope to see us sell more but people do seem to be getting fed up with our inconsistency so maybe a few will stay away.

How many does the Geffrey Lamb hold? Does this means we have sold a thousand up to yet. (we were initially allocated 2200 but could get more if needed) or does this mean we have asked for another 1000 because we have sold 2000.smileys/smiley5.gif

The stand holds about 5,200, that's 2,700 in the upper tier and the rest in the lower. I can't see the point from Sheffield's point of view in only offering us 1,000 more, if they've got to open both tiers they might as well offer us the lot. It's not like they have a mixed home and away area, like the South Bank.
Edit due to getting it completely wrong, maybe we only got 1,700 initially and now we are getting the other 1,000? Edited by: I.D.

It could just be that by drip feeding tickets they sell more, as people
may well be worried about them selling out.....if they say 'Only 100
left' with 2 weeks to go people will buy them, as opposed to waiting
until the last minute when other things may get in the way....
