Bruce: Officials too honest
Birmingham boss Steve Bruce says Premiership referees are applying the game's laws "to the extreme" in the wake of Kenny Cunningham's red card.
</TD></TR></T></TABLE>This bloke is fast becoming the biggest joke in the premiership. Last week he was going spare at the ref afterone of his players got sent off for kicking an opponent, now he is moaning as a ref sent off Cunningham for bringing down an attacker when he was the last man.

Imagine if it was an Arsenal player that had hacked down Pandiani when he was clear through on goal.
Steve Bruce would be going mad if the Arsenal player stayed on the pitch.

I gave the same example to my mate who is a bluenose but used Heskey. His reply was that Heskey would have probably tried to stay on his feet though smileys/smiley36.gif

Every single game Blues have lost has been the fault of the referee, according to Bruce.
It couldn't possibly be that his team has been sussed by other managers could it ?

Really can't see the ref had any option but to give Cunningham the red card so Bruce is just making himself look a bigger idiot than usual by bleating as he is.

I still remember him at Anfield flying through the Wolves defence,
clear on goal, drawing his foot back to shoot.....then throwing himself
on the floor. The bloody big coward.

Me too, rather than get the shot in he waited for Craddock to come back and win the tackle so he could try and get a penalty.

Blues are the dullest team in the Premiership and their manager has got a bent conk. (I said conk)

to be fair, Van Persie called it a lucky red card in his post match interview.
To be fair (x2), Van Persie is hardly the best authority!
