don't know if anyone has noticed but recently they have become a lot more extensive, with a series of special features also hitting the front page. The latest of which this morning is on Prozone which is quite interesting. Im guessing these have been done with the new influence from Paul Berry. Anyone else noticed the difference?

These are the kind of articles that I want to read.

Not cut and paste kak from players and ex-players saying what a great club we are....the gaffer is great... we should be in the Prem... Good set of lads.... blah blah blah!

That is a good article. Most of us new that Wolves had taken on the Prozone technology but it was enlightening to read about how it is being used.
Worth checking out WOW more regularly now.

The team had the best average of crossing the ball into the box in the whole league

Does this mean we didn't miss our star wingers as much as we thought?

We missed quality balls in the box last year. Lets hope kites and Jarvis can deliver this term. We may have had the highest average for crosses per game but they have to be delivered in the right areas for scoring opportunities.

Mmm- a more telling statistic would be how many of those crosses actually reached their target. 20 crosses into the box in a game sounds great, but if only 2 of them reach a Wolves player it doesn't sound so wonderful.

I'd imagine the greater majority of crosses are met by defenders in most games of football.

Yep. We did seem to have quite a few balls flash across the 6 yard line early in the season with no predatory striker to gamble on.

I do have some problems with WOW, it's probably not as regularly updated as I'd like (the injury page last season was a prime example) and on the "Team Homepage" we still have a team photo from the start of the 06/07 season. It'd also be nice if for the team profiles we could use the players pictures that get taken during pre-season and the ones you see on the cards in the club shop, check the player profiles on the WBA website for what I mean (maybe I am just being fussy though).

Sometimes there's also a lack in consistent text formatting - see Sam Vokes' player profile for an example, the text starts off small then goes bigger. Just looks unprofessional to me.

20 shots per game was poor I thought - possibly the most enlightening stat of all. How many of those would be on target? 5 or so?

Oddly, there's nothing on the official site since Sunday.
