Since Wolves must be fairly high up the list in managerial changes since
the Stan Cullis era, it should not be surprising that a number of of former
managers are now plying their trade elsewhere.
None presently guide their sides in the Premiership although Graham
Taylor did and more recently (just) Dave Jones who remains the only
Wolves manager to have taken us up (and some would say brought us
down).
Two of our previous three managers, Lee and McGhee (sounds like the
Mamas and Papa lyrics - sorry) are now battling with Jones and our
present leader, GH, in the Championship.
Brian Little (twice in the Wolves managerial hot seat) now looks after
Tranmere.
John Ward, Caretaker Manager and Colin Lee's Assistant holds the
reins at Cheltenham whilst former players Keith Curle, Paul Simpson and
Coach Chris Turner occupy positions at Chester, Carlisle and Stockport
respectively.
I believe that the long term incumbant at Molineux, Graham Turner
actually owns Hereford so he should be the most secure of them all,
although apparently the future of the ground is a little uncertain at the
moment.
Who have I left out?
