Let's put this one to bed, shall we?

Our Micheal turned Queen's evidence against a brutal bunch of thugs that carried out a racist attack. He probably thought that he had more in common with the victim than his so called team mates.

I've got no time for footballers that think that they are above the law. Where does it say in the British justice system that if you are a famous footballer that it is O.K. to rape women, beat up people who are of a different racial origin to yourself or kill people through dangerous driving and expect to get away with it.

And since when do Wolves fans care about the welfare of thugs that play for Leeds?

No, it's a song that's popular amongst Wolves fans. I'll let you be the judge of their I.Q. level.

WHY DO YOU QUESTION OUR IQ ?

ITS JUST A SONG

IN FACT WHEN WE SING IT WE PUT OUR LEFT FOOT IN AND OUR LEFT OUT LIKE THE HOKEY COKEY.

PENSIONERS OF THE FUTURE WILL BE DOING IT AT VARIOUS SOCIAL CLUBS AROUND THE COUNTRY IN YEARS TO COME.

ID I think may supporters know that but sing it to annoy him, seeing as he pretty much got bombed out of Leeds for it, amongst other things.

I watched him as he trugded off at the end of the game and the abuse he got was disgusting from the Wolves lot , it looked like at one point he was going to come back out of the tunnel to rumble with them.......

The repeated singing of that chant just made the Wolves fans sound
thick IMO and it does not do the club any credit at all. Duberry was
equally stupid for reacting to it every time it was sung.

It is completely unwarranted abuse, he did the honourable right thing, andI don't understand why fans feel the need to chant this at him, but football fans should be allowed to sing pretty much what they want at grounds if you ask me, as this is how it has always been. I'm a bit worried about how fans, recently, have been getting banned from games due to chants, I think this takes something away from the game, as no matter contraversial a chant may be it is a part of football that has always been there. Obviously, to a certaindegree such actionsare necessary, we had to, for example, move away from the racism and racial abuse in football. Butnowadays this isnot as evident, and thebans from grounds are for crimes that are tiny in comparison, I just think thatit's just another sign of the process of cleansing football, which WAS necessary, but now it could become hurtful to the game.

What a lock of bolljocks. The song wound him up, was relatively funny and got the atmosphere going... I don't really care whether he did the honourable thing or not. I also don't want to shove my nob up Deliah's $$$$ either!smileys/smiley2.gif

It's all part of football and what terrace banter is all about it. Now what is embarrassing is not knowing more than the first four lines to 'Everywhere we Go'!!smileys/smiley5.gif

Mind you Wolves supporters have been very controversial for years .....anyone remember the 'One man went to war went to war with Keegan , one man and his baseball bat went to war with Keegan'..........

Even though he did the right thing he's still an arrogant w!$*er, the song is only sung to wind him up, and it works. We should just give him some Danny Mills style abuse instead, i still cant believe how bad that was. Thought it would die down as the game went on but just got louder and louder, i think he was physically shaking as he came off the pitch.

That's what I was saying yeah, banning or condemning such song only takes away from the game, and the already dying terrace banter of football!

It was really bad, yeah, I can remember seeing him signal to come off a few times, no worse than he deserves though!

Thats the only time i've ever seen a player be clearly affected by
crowd abuse. He literally could not pass right, his mind had
clearly been messed with, and was definelty glad to hear the fulltime
wistle!

I'm glad he grassed on the others, they bloody deserved it. I am glad I do not mix with people/mates that put me in such a position.

Bowyer is a prat, and Woodgate is as bad.

As said it clearly wound him up as it did at Molineux. if we as fans can have this kind of effect and put an opposition player of his game i don't give a $$$$$ what the lyrics are.

Bloody too right Yammer. I'm sure the opposition would love us all to sit in the bloody Billy Quiet moaning about the price of real estate rather than spitting blood and feathers at them from the South Bank whilst questioning their parentage. Duberry brought it on himself following his antics at Molineux. Its just a pity our stands are so far away from the pitch otherwise I'm sure the hostility shown from our fans would upset most away teams and probably influence games in our favour even more. Yes, I would agree that Wolves fans are probably not the brightest in the World (school league tables would back up this argument when compared against the rest of the country) - but rather than condemn it - lets use it to our advantage.

Regardless of whether him giving evidence against Bowyer & Woodgate was right or wrong, Michael Duberry is a $$$$$.

Itrrespective of the rights or wrongs of Duberry's past actions the bottom line is that he is an experienced and professional football player who should be able to raise above comments chanted from the terraces.
