Looked very much like his legs had gone when he was at Wednesday last season. It's a no from me, half paced friendlies against Portuguese opposition are a world away from the Championship.

Very good player in his prime, we should have signed him years ago rather than the jokers we had playing in our midfield throughout the 90s, or even as late as 2-3 years ago.

But that's not an option, and it never was as he's a Birmingham fan and we wouldn't pay £25k a week for him (£1.3m a year, before you start factoring in signing on fees and bonuses).

This may surprise you deutsch, but i did actually attend plenty of games before i Moved here, and SHOCK HORROR... i have actually seen carsley play. And he wasnt as good as rae, ince or cameron.
