Just read on another site that apparently McCarthy is looking at signing Darius Henderson from Watford.

No official link just another forum site and imagine it's just talk. With so many strikers on the books is another needed? Maybe if Bothroyd and Elliott leave soon but still can't see the need.

Not the player for me. S Ward has to be considered as 5th choice striker. Henderson never impresses me.

I doubt it. McCarthy said we wanted 1 more player, and given the number of central defenders we have been chasing - I doubt we will buy another striker.

After dundee game, in praise of Volkes, MM said he would be challenging for the first team right away and that he would need all four strikers. So he even excluded ward from the list.
