Best football I have seen in years from Spain, if you want a training video on how to play the game it's this one.
Fabregas is a magician.
Fab has indeed been just that in every game when he has come on. Surely he will start against Germany now.

If Villa is injured, i imagine he will start just behind Torres, Spain were terrific tonight the passing was immaculate at times and i really hope they win on sunday
Spain are going to have massive support on Sunday.
What happened to Russia - they looked as though they were $$$$ting themselves from the off?
How bad were the ITV commentary team? - jingoistic, cringe-inducing $$$$e.
Yet again.
Matadors, Tapas, Sherry etc etc - Excruciating inane rubbish that Motson would be proud of.
Whoever wins on Sunday, I will be 'over the moon' that BBC1's sheepskinned buffoon has finally retired.
Only 3 decades too late.
Too celebrate, I will be watching with the sound off.:D

David Villa is injured for the final. No brainer that Fabregas should start regardless

In an ordinary world, I'd be amazed if Fabregas doesn't start, but then we're talking about Aragones here, who hasn't managed to fit him into his team despite him running the show every time he's come on.
Guiza also did well so it's possible that he could start up top with Torres (poor tonight IMO) and keep the same midfield.
Germany would be best suited by going back to 4-4-2, putting Podolski up front and shifting Hitzlsperger out to the left.

Do you think Fab wants to sign for us to complete our transfer dealing for this week? :)

Don't go overboard tonight lads, Russia were stunned by the occasion, red kit and all that. Didn't recognise each other! ;)
The Spanish midfield is superb and their tactics negated Arshavin.
The post match interview with Fabregas highlighted for me the difference in mentality with the highly lauded English midfield.

Arvashin reminds me of Schilachi(sp?) in 90, Kennet Andersson in 94, Milosevic in 2000 and Baros in 04. Good players in form at the right time its just they aren't that amazing.
Spain looked much better with just one up front and more positive offensively for those who criticise it. Shame Torres wasn't born English as the Spanish style negates his talents, he would thrive in an English team that got the ball forward quickly.
If Germany want to know how to beat Spain I suggest they watch the Sweden game. Teams similar in style but Germany have better players and alot more firepower. I have backed Duestchland all the way and I hope they make that final step.

It reminded me of the free flowing football that we've seen so often at the Molineux over many years.....NURSE! My Medication has worn off again! ;)

It's going to be a classic final. Style and flare vs organisation.
I predict a good game, 1-1 AET, Germany to win 5-4 on penalties.

I thought it was hilarious when Pleat was trying to compare Pavyluchenko to a certain Terry Shedingham?and likening Anukov to a cultured bull!
Spain will Lick the Germans.

Haven't we been down this road? What did they call the German midfielder we had 5 or 6 years ago? So bad we had to give him away.
