Whilst looking on the Argyle web site at Timar's profile I noticed their No 12 was called Green Army - even for a Hungarian that's a wierd name!!

Closer inspection revealed they've actually allocated their No 12 shirt to their "army" of fans - a real 12th man.

Not sure I'd be happy with this at the Mol - I think we should hold out for the No 9 shirt.

It is weird... especially as it's supposed to be Green Army! ;)

You're right about holding out for the No.9 shirt though.

They've kind of pinched the idea from the NFL's Seattle Seahawks.
As you might know American teams have a tradition of 'retiring' players numbers if they have had an outstanding career.
The Seahawks retired the number 12 in recognition of their fans, they made their old stadium (a dome) the loudest in the NFL.
Useless fact of the day.

Also been done by a number of Italian clubs for years.

Just had a vision of a couple of hundred of us being brought on for the last 10 mins wearing that huge shirt that used to be passed around the Stan Cullis.
