Perhaps, like some kind of desperate self defence mechanism designed to save myself from the pitiful state I find myself in, a fresh delusion has spawned in my head.

I am now utterly convinced that Albion will suffer from a mixture of complacency and arrogance and will fail to secure automatic promotion. Wolves on the other hand will get 8 points from the four remaining games to finish 6th by a whisker. We will then meet and beat them over two legs with kightly, freddy and seb firing us to comprehensive victory.

Unfortunately it all ends there as we lose to Bristol City in final.

What number of points do you think the last play off position will get then? I had thought 70 until Palace's recent dash - having said that they have a tough run-in. I can't see too many sides getting more than 72.
