According to http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/port_vale/7350138.stm, Keith Lowe is heading back to Molineux. The article implies immediately, though I suspect that it's actually non-news and it'll be at the end of the season.
As he's been almost permanently out on loan for the last few years, I expect that he'll be soon on his way out the door permanently. It's always a shame when that happens to a local lad, though.
When's his contract up?
Unfortunately It doesn't look like Lowe has a future with Wolves. Maybe he can go and give Bull a hand.

Not good enough for that, I saw him play for Port Vale against Chasetown and as the results show , he was not good enough ,Willenhall Town possibly ?

June 2008, but because of his age we could demand a fee if it went to tribunal. Shame really as I've met him a couple of times and he seems a pleasant lad. Did ok for us filling in at right back and did reasonably well by all accounts when at Burnley.

As for Lowe, he broke through years ago and three managers have failed to see what he can offer. That can't have happened by chance.
I thought he was ok when I saw him play for us but nothing special. Why we didn't let him go to Burnley full time is beyond me, he was rated there and it now seems he'll be plying his trade at league one at best.

If Burnley thought he was all that good surely they would have put in a bid that we couldn't turn down. Seems like League 1 is his level unfortunately.

Hi all,
Been waiting for an appropiate point to jump in! A mate of mines a Vale fan who's take on Lowe is that he's been pretty appalling for them.

Lowe is the most gormless footballer I have ever seen. He wasn't completely terrible, but I'd rather have Collins any day.

What was the point of your answer Alko? Is it your contention that Collins is better than Lowe? If so why not say so? Or are you talking rubbish?
