Any idea which set of fans this came from?? Wolves or Albion? Initially i thought it was Albion, then I thought why would they throw a flare at their own players??

Not seen a flare in a game i've been to before.

I can remember a wolves fan throwing a flare on to the pitch when Paul Ince scored to make it 1-1 v Derby in the year we got promoted

It was thrown from the Albion section just after they scored (??). Lord knows how they got it in. Someone in Security needs to be spoken to maybe?

Really? I cant remember that...i remember a thermos flask being thrown from the South Bank when Iwan Roberts scored against us for Leicester, ha...probably an old boy! :D

What about when we did ' friendly fire ' with the rockets at our own fans.
I was thinking we should ban all Albion fans fronm the Mol because of this, but then again it will probrably be many years before our paths meet again now , with the exception of the cup perhaps. We are not in the same class.

It was Albion but to be fair I don't think it was thrown at their players it was thrown onto the pitch as part of a "celebration". It happened to land in an area that the Albion players were running towards. The bloke was arrested for his poor aim rather than anything sinister.


The bloke that was arrested and thrown out at about 7.20pm was the one who made me laugh. All that time and effort to get dressed up in human clothes and he couldn't act human long enough to even see the teams come out.

I didn't think it was the bloke who got threw out who had the flare, he was too far towards the North bank to throw it to where it landed. Thought he got pulled for jumping the concrete wall when they scored.

Bloody hell a six inch flare lands on the pitch and there's a national debate on who threw it....can you imagine this happening on the AC Milan or Napoli equivelant message board....more like who didn't join throw one

It was a bit of a non event really. Just smoked, had it been one of those trillion candle power ones and burnt a hole in the field, then yes we should be discussing it.

The steward that got to it first kicked it under those wooden advertising boards... is that the best idea!?
