I've turned my computer on this morning only to find that all the icons that are supposed to be on the desktop have disappeared. Anyone know how to get them back?
Thanks in advance...

Cheers for the useful reply, much appreciated.
Are you using XP? If so, try a system restore.

I'm just surprised someone registered on a Wolves forum to specifically ask a question about computers.

Right click your desktop ,click properties , click desktop , customize desktop and then add them yourself again (that will just be my computer , recycle bin , IE icons) all other icons go in start look for your program you had on desktop and then send to desktop.....
Try that...
