Couldn't see it anywhere else, Stephen Gleeson has signed for Stockport on loan till the end of the season.

I thought there was a FIFA rule restricting a player from playing for more than two clubs in the same season. Played for us against Morecambe in the League Cup (plus two sub (not used) appearances); Hereford and now to Stockport with a 24 hour recall.

Only involves Premier League clubs.
That's France, Scotland & England in Daniel Cousins case, which I believe is the one you're alluding to.

Thats permanent transfers in one season. A player can go on loan to as many clubs because they are still owned by 1 club during those deals.
Dewsbury mentions Cousin.......his move to Fulham collapsed due to him playing a few minutes in the French League prior to joining Rangers in August.

But there was I think a player who wasn't allowed to go on Loan somewhere also because he'd played for two other clubs. Can't remember who.

Ikeme was the season before. Stockport were struggling near the foot of the table at the time. Ikeme had a nightmare. Conceded 6 in one game, scored an o.g and got done by the old trick of waiting behind the keeper and when the ball is put down, nip round and score.
I think O'Connor was there at the same time.
Stockport have loved all but one of their loanee's from Wolves and that one was Ikeme

Doesn't matter anyway, he hasn't appeared for Wolves this season has he?? So he has played for Hereford and Stockport (or will have) thats only two clubs.

He has played in the Carling Cup for us (and was very poor against Morecombe)

I wonder if we were clever enough to say "You can have Gleeson on loan providing we get Ashley Williams on a permanent in the summer". Then again, probably not.

Pretty sure last summer and the January we bought Kightly, Keogh etc. we were linked quite strongly to him.
