Didnt see it mentioned anywhere on here, reading the E & S last night its good to hear the loser mentality that Moxey & some on here have adopted hasnt spread to our promising young keeper.
I completely agree with him. Obviously a young man with ambitions who believes that anything less than a top 6 finish this season will be completely unacceptable.
I think its very admirable to see a young 21 year old man admit to that. If only some more senior employee's of the club were as frank & honest in their overall assessment of how this season has gone & what is acceptable & what isnt.

Good that he sees it this way but how man at the club think likewise I wonder?

I'm not sure where Moxey or MM has been quoted as saying a non-top 6 finish WOULD be acceptable?

I think you read more into his interview than was intended BILD. Either that or you are desperate to have a free hit at the club, moxey, etc. Same with you Essex. It was just an interview for God's sake, not a party political broadcast on behalf of the Disenchanted Party.

EW, I read nothing into it. I like what he has to say but feel a few more at the club need to have the same attitude.

My sentiments exactly Essex. Every set of prog notes Ive read from Moxey this season or any interview he has done there does seem to be a rather relaxed attitude within the club to what has been a very, very disappointing season.
Gary Breen said something similar a couple of weeks back.
It was dissected and used as a stick to beat him senseless.

Gary Breen has actually gone up in my estimations in the last few weeks. And thats coming from one of his biggest critics.
Standing up for the fans... standing up to the stupid one... still a shocking footballer but at least he's got some minerals.

Yes quite - if we don't make it, Hennessey should retire from football as he has failed. In fact maybe there should be a public lynching of him to make everyone feel better?
Talk is cheap - command your area and look out for 20 yard shots at your near post Wayne. That's how you're going to help Wolves.

I think it was a two-fold message from Wayne, yes pointing out that missing the play-offs would be a failure, but also the first up or I'm off statement.

And who could blame him??

At least if he does go we'll get a decent price for him. We've also got Matt Murray to come back in (who'd be first choice?) plus Ikeme as well. Admittedly both could be described as injury prone but that can't go on forever can it?

Matt Murray is 20 times better than Hennessey, but unfortunately plays one season on & one off.

I don't think fans have a problem with their best player's attracting interest from the top Clubs and being sold if the money is right.
The same situation happened to Grays fans when their best player was sold to Wolves.
It's the way of the Football world.

Wayne - “But I think all of us will feel a sense of failure if we don’t make it into the play- offs now.”
Seems like that they may have if what Wayne has said is true.
