Link to the "local press" verdict on last night and fans comments. The lads I gave a lift to (and unfortunately back) thought a draw was a fair result and it wasn't a pen. I thought a draw was fair and no way was it a pen. I did agree with them I couldnt see what the sending off was about. However, the real thing that agrieved me about the sending off incident was the time wasting involved in that incident - by not only Vignal when getting sent off, plus then some other scummer who got booked when not taking the throw in, but the ref in doing the sending off and booking, which took even longer to sort out. Lo and behond that extra minute or so was just what they needed to get their 2nd goal.
Gutted. I just hope they go down so we dont have to face them next season.
Carp game, 2 carp teams, carp officials, quiet crowd (understandably) and a long journey home..... and lots of stick at work today.:mad:
