Never heard it played before.

I like how they've brought back Fanfare for the Common Man lately. Sounds much better.

Judging by the thick, smelly morons I sit next to maybe we should rename it...
Fanfare for the Extremely Common Man..?
God - i'm in a bad mood today!

Maybe Elokobi's tigerish tackling?
He really is a BIG fella and not afraid to get stuck in. Shame he didn't hoof the ball upfield before the comedy corner was conceded though.

Mick did say he was raw, had Gray have been in Elokobi's position it may have been a different story but the kid will learn from his mistakes. I was quite impressed with him to be honest.

I impressed with his tackling, his willingness to track back, his pace was good also.
His passing was appalling last night though.
I hope it was just a 'glitch'.
Someone by me said it was because that was number 1 the last time we beat southampton, don't know if it's true.

So was I mate, just about the only mistake he made I thought. Should have had Gray in front of him anyway with Jarvis on the right.
Was it just me or did Jarvis seem to be giving the ball to George just about every time he got the ball on the left. Is he losing confidence in his right foot?

Thought it was Going Undergound by The Jam.

I was initially worried that without Gray infront of him Elokobi would look horribly exposed, admittedly he didn't have much to worry about though as Southampton were dire.
I wondered that too, I didn't see Jarvis make one cross all night.. Elokobi's cross for the second goal was an absolute peach though.

Jarvis took his man on and beat him twice but then seemed to always revert to giving the ball to George.
At least with the Albion game being off we've got a whole week to work out who should play where and to make sure eveyone's fit.

I thought we beat them in 1979 and Tiger Feet was about 1974.
Bear, I commented at the match about this track and wondered why it was being played.

Does every tune played over the PA have to be of any particular significance? Are you sure it wasn't just a Silver wedding anniversary request from Mrs Edna Molesworthy of Bloxwich?

To answer the question, the last time we beat them was 07/04/80 -

The UK Number 1 was indeed Going Underground by The Jam -
