Four key players who when fit should be in the first eleven.

Anybody got an injury update?

Is Jones injured?? Just thought he was cup tied

Davies has piled on a fair bit of weight. Going to be a while before he returns

Gobern - He is weeks away from picking up a new slight injury

Gleeson - No idea

Gleeson has had a hamstring injury, he played his first game for a while for the reserves against Leicester in midweek.

Jones travelled to Blackpool on Tuesday but didn't make the 16 despite our criminal lack of width, for reasons best known to the manager.

I'd be surprised if you saw Mark Davies in the first team this season and Lewis Gobern ever again.

"Breen will never play for Wolves again"

So that'd be our midfield? No Jarvis or Kightly?

they have missed the boat im afraid, i dont think theyll ever make the first team again, injured all the time, better players ahead of them who can stay fit and money sat in the bank for the new manager to get a proper team.
somewhere along the line these academy players have lost their way, is this a coincidence since MM came here? but if they aint fit can we really blame him?

Kightly is injured and based on end product i'm not sure Jarvis is really as good as we think he is.

Having seen him out the other night Davies looks like he would struggle to get in the mixers team. I fear it may well be all over for him at the Wolves

If you are right that is a criminal waste of talent

Daniel Jones should be in the 16 against Scunthorpe, Gleeson on the fringes.

None of these 4 players look like their good enough from the little I've seen them play.

Neither did most of the team on Saturday.

I think that's one of most supporters biggest dissapointments this season, the total lack of development of home grown players which was evident last season. Supporters seem to have more patience with players who have come through the club, he could do a lot worse than throw a few of them into the side (although admittedly it would be a tough time to come into a losing side), I think a lot more of the fans would get behind the team.

Agreed.
I fail to see how Mark Little could be any worse than Darren Ward/Neil Collins and Daniel Jones worse than any forward playing midfield .

BOth of those players have had there footballing education continued at Northampton with first team football though. It's not as if they've been left to rot like Marky D.

Seriously, I think everybody who saw Little last season wanted him to go out on loan, learn how to defend and make his mistakes outside of the pressure cooker that is Molineux. The fact that senior professionals haven't performed shouldn't mean we risk harming the development of a potentially excellent player.

Although its very frustrating, I'm inclined to agree. MM's signings have let him down - BIG TIME. Hopefully, it just goes to prove that we have a good youth system that is producing good players that look better than established professionals. Maybe next season, the younger players will make the squad and the even younger players can start going out on loan, thus the conveyor belt starts rolling and the need to sign Championship failures ends.

I heard that Steve Gleeson is being loaned out to a League 2 side this week. I would like to see him given a chance at Wolves. This season is going nowhere so why not blood a young player with a good touch and passing ability. Olo and Henry's first touch is woeful which is something that contributes to our slow build up (when we aren't playing hoofball to Kyle) and lack of fluency.

MM is also damaging the development of some of our current first team players by shunting them into roles that they clearly don't find comfortable. It's happened with S Ward, N Collins, Gibson, Keogh etc.

Much of our squad now look poorer players than they did several months ago.
