just noticed this on the club site

which is a bummer for those of us who have been looking forward to the baggies match - too far to get to the mol for midweek matches usually...very frustrating -I would have thought one of us would make it through:mad: Although if we both got through and were drawn against each other at the Molineux that would be fine!!

If you've been looking forward to it surely you will go. It's tunbridge wells to wolverhampton, not exactly the other side of the world.

If this game is moved it will be very ironic, I am going to China in March and intentionally put the flights back til after the 9th so that I could go to this game. What are the odds it will played by the 12th do you think?? If so I'm there...
(Apologies to all those fans that would go whatever ;))

If the game is moved it might help us with our current " sick list"
I'm sure that i'd heard somewhere that if either of us do go through to the 6th round then we'd play the albion on the weekend we are due to play QPR and then play QPR on a later midweek date as the police wouldn't want a night time black country derby as harder to police in the dark. I don't know what they'd do if we ever drew the albion in a league cup game.

We did play them midweek in the play offs last year though, and also in the League when we drew 1-1 with them a few years ago. Both were at the Hawthorns though if I remember correctly.
I get the feeling they have more difficulty policing the Molineux than their place as the coaches are parked right outside the ground wheras its a run the gauntlet potential situation getting their fans to the coach park at Molineux.

The Police were happy for the league game last year to have taken place midweek had Albion made the quarter finals.. as the League game at Molineux was scheduled on QF wkend season last season as well.
