I know that MMs tactical ability has been berated of late, but I believe that it's because his subtlety escapes us !

Let's look at the evidence again...

He foresees a long term injury to Kightly (and obviously the danger to Jarvis), so he brings in Kyle. Big target man = hoof balls, therefore no need for wingers. Problem solved.

Eastwood then reveals that he often does nothing for 70-80 minutes then pops up with a late goal, so MM avoids the non-productive time and just puts him on in the last few minutes for him to get his goal. Eastwood has clearly let him down.

These are just two of the great mans tactical triumphs that have become obvious in hindsight. I'm sure if you look hard enough, you'll see others...

HE should have got cover the for wings. He did try to sign Ledley so he obviously knows he needs cover for that area. If Wolves can't bring in their targeted players then in the current climate they're prepared to be patient and not bring in players for the sake of things.

I'm not even talking about Eastwood. It's up to him if he wants to be a success. Moaning and going to the daily rags won't help him IMO.

Yes I see what you mean but does it really compare with the quality of irony shown by Paul in his reply?
