View Full Version : Things happen in Threes?
Apparently they do, anyway. So, with Dowie getting the chop from Coventry, and Robson being ushered out of the Sheffield Utd hotseat, are we likely to see a 3rd Championship club manager fall victim to expectation this February?

Wishful thinkin Aka
If so I hope it isn't Mick. He should be given a chance to turn things around. A small run of wins will put us back in the playoffs and everyone will be happy again....
It doesn't take much to get us back up there. Three league wins I recon, and if we can stuff Cardiff tomorrow as well, things will surely be looking rosey again.

I reckon Brian Laws at Sheff Wed is on shaky ground.

If we win in the Cup tomorrow (a bif if) a certain Mr Jones could get his P45. Already had one "vote of confidence" hasn't he?

Are you about to clean those pink spectacles? We will do nothing until MM decides on his best team and sticks to it. All this chopping and changing leads you nowhere. You only have to look at Liverpool to prove this.

When I saw the thread title I thought it meant McCarthy, Connor and Daley were all leaving.
I now feel disappointed.

for all the wishes of certain wolves fans and for splurging the same subject and topic out over and over again on the pages of Molineux Mix, we all know deep down he'll get til the end of the season.
The repetative comments and arguments of some on here are becoming quite boring.

Bit like McCarthy's team selections and comments you mean.

I hope Mick stays and recreates the atmosphere we had at the Mol last season

I hope it is him, he was doing well at Plymouth, settled in the area and building a half decent side there. He ups sticks for the cash and the 'glory' and it has backfired on him.
I hope he has learned his lesson, he will always be a mid-table Championship manager at best, probably in some carrot-crunching rural backwater.

It will take more than 3 wins, it is harder to climb back up than drop down.

Yes more than three wins....
We have a hard task now to get in the play offs. We have to get results all the time

Good point about Holloway. Taking Clapham on loan is like McCarthy's Kyle moment. When a manager signs/loans an awful player who can't even get in an awful team managed by another awful manager it's time to go.

Lose to Cardiff tomorrow and to Scunny next week I defy SM to keep Thick Mick in post. Even so I desperately want to beat both these sides, go on and win the Cup and gain automatic promotion!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just going to lie down!

That rollercoaster we call Wolves never changes much over the years (last 25 anyway) does it - up for a while then back down to earth!!
What odds on us beating Cardiff, Scunny,Palace and then the wheels falling off again!

It would actually be a pretty flat roller-coaster over the past 20 years or so with one upward and downward ride in 2003-04!!!!!
