I don't always agree with MM's public pronouncements, in fact I think he puts his feet in his mouth more than often....but tonight he noted that the players dropped contributed to tonights win by their attitude, then went on to state that we need all of the squad during the balance of the season. Good interview, I think.

A pregnant silence when asked?

He said you never know, "the wind may blow something in or out" when asked about transfers before the end of the window. Typical northern blarney!! :D

Kevin Kyle? OK, not official and weird if it's a loan deal ?

Please god no. I work with a load of Cov fans and they say he's absolutely terrible, one of the worst players they've ever seen.

I don't like his play either....but at the business end of the season we might just want a bruiser to chuck on and knock a defence out of shape.
A loan deal wouldn't be too bad and he can head a ball.

Quite agree, he played for Cov reserves against our reserves earlier this season and is just a donkey

So who's out then?

"The reaction of the lads that were dropped to the bench tonight - Rob Edwards, Darren Potter (http://www.wolves.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/0,,10307%7E1228396,00.html#) and Jay Bothroyd (http://www.wolves.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/0,,10307%7E1228396,00.html#) - really contributed to the performance and team spirit in the dressing room.
"They were all ready to play and what a contribution from Jay to set up the winner.
"Two or three games ago he was being booed.
"The window will close on Thursday and all those players will still be here. And I need all of them."

If Kevin Kyle signs for us, and gets nearer the first XI than Eastwood, then all my respect for MM will evaporate ridiculously quickly...

I just can't see any justification for us signing Kyle, we have strikers that are scoring for once!

At 6'3" he will add some height at least, we looked a short team tonight against Wednesday. One mans trash is another mans treasure and all that. Plus he has played for Sunderland so it must be true ;)

One is worth about a tenth of the other, so, again, can't see it happening.

And here was me thinking that we'd heard the last of the terrible rumours of Kyle coming here!
